Veebimajutus.ee is an established Estonian domain, hosting and website-services provider operated by Elkdata OÜ. The company has been active since 1998 and has developed into one of the most recognizable hosting brands in Estonia, serving more than 28,000 customers and managing approximately 54,000 domains. Its customer base consists mainly of Estonian small and medium-sized businesses, entrepreneurs, associations, online stores and private website owners.

The company was founded by Margus Merilai, who remained involved in the business after its acquisition by group.one. The acquisition was announced in November 2025, while One.com Group AB became the registered owner of Elkdata OÜ in January 2026. Veebimajutus.ee continues to operate under its established local brand, using the same Estonian organization, support team, billing environment and proprietary hosting control panel.

Its service portfolio concentrates on domain registration, professional email, Linux shared hosting, WordPress hosting, WooCommerce hosting, SSL certificates, website creation, website migration, DNS administration and WordPress optimization tools. Conventional VPS, dedicated servers, reseller hosting and colocation are not included in the current product range. The service is therefore aimed at customers who need a managed environment for websites, online stores and business email rather than unrestricted operating-system access.

The Start package is designed primarily for professional email under the customer’s own domain. It includes 25 email addresses and 5 GB of storage per mailbox, making it suitable for small companies that already have a website elsewhere or only require a branded email service.

Standard is the main entry-level website-hosting package. It includes 200 GB of SSD storage, 50 email addresses, mailboxes of up to 10 GB, WordPress support, an AI-assisted website-creation environment, Elementor, more than 100 design templates and a selection of useful WordPress plugins. It also includes website security monitoring and 30 days of visitor statistics.

Plus expands the hosting environment to 300 GB of SSD storage and unlimited email addresses, with up to 15 GB available for each mailbox. The package includes twice the standard processing resources, longer-term visitor statistics, Redis, Memcached, Patchstack protection, Plausible analytics and more advanced caching. It is a practical choice for active WordPress websites, company portals and smaller WooCommerce stores.

Premium is intended for larger websites and more demanding e-commerce installations. It includes four times the baseline processing resources, mailboxes of up to 20 GB and storage governed by a fair-use policy rather than a fixed headline limit. Additional features include Blackwall firewall and DDoS protection, WP Rocket caching and Rank Math PRO. This package is the strongest option for customers whose websites require higher performance and more extensive WordPress security and optimization tools.

The hosting environment offers more development flexibility than many conventional small-business hosting services. Customers can use SSH, SFTP, FTP, FTPS, Git, CVS, SVN, Mercurial, cron jobs, Composer, npm, WP-CLI and Drush. Supported programming environments include PHP versions from 7.4 through 8.3, Python, Ruby and Perl.

Database support includes MariaDB 11.4 and PostgreSQL 17, together with phpMyAdmin and phpPgAdmin. Higher-level packages add Redis and Memcached for applications that benefit from object caching and faster data access. Alias domains, subdomains and website traffic are not restricted by fixed numerical limits on the main website-hosting packages.

WordPress can be installed directly from the management environment and combined with Elementor, WooCommerce, Rank Math SEO, Patchstack, caching tools and AI-assisted website-building utilities such as Extendify and ZipWP. The WordPress administration environment can also be used in Estonian, which makes the service particularly convenient for local customers who prefer to manage their websites in their native language.

WooCommerce hosting begins with the Plus package. It combines the standard WordPress environment with additional processing capacity, caching, security monitoring and database optimization. Premium is more appropriate for busier online stores because it adds stronger DDoS protection, a dedicated firewall layer, WP Rocket and Rank Math PRO.

Professional website creation is also available through the company’s partner network. This gives customers the option of using the self-service WordPress tools or working with an experienced website agency. Simpler professionally created websites commonly cost approximately €500 to €1,000 before VAT, although the final amount depends on design, content, integrations and other project requirements.

Domain services cover Estonian and international extensions. Customers can register new domains, transfer existing names, change nameservers, manage DNS records and delegate domain-management rights to another account. The company is particularly well suited to .ee domain customers because domain registration, hosting, email and technical support are available through one local provider.

Website, email and domain migration is available without an additional transfer fee. The migration service can include website files, databases, email accounts and domain settings, helping customers move from another provider without manually rebuilding their entire environment.

The website and control environment are available in Estonian and English. Estonian remains the most complete language version, especially for the knowledge base, legal documents and older support content. Prices are displayed in euros, and visitors can view amounts with or without VAT.
