ValueHost is one of the long-established Russian hosting providers, operating since 2000. The business is run by ZAO "Web Hosting" (ЗАО «Вэб Хостинг»), a Saint Petersburg company registered on September 27, 2000. ValueHost is also a registered trademark, while the company has accredited Russian IT-company status and develops its own hosting technology rather than depending entirely on third-party hosting software.

Petr Vladimirovich Zarytov has been associated with ValueHost since its early years and remains general director of ZAO "Web Hosting." The company has a relatively compact organization, with current corporate records indicating a staff of around ten employees. Despite that small scale, ValueHost has more than two decades of experience in Russian hosting and has maintained both hosting infrastructure and proprietary software development.

One of its more distinctive assets is the ValueHost Cloud Platform, the company's own hosting-management environment. It entered the Russian software registry in February 2026, reinforcing ValueHost's position as both a hosting operator and software developer. A separate ValueHost mobile application is also registered.

The current range covers Shared Hosting, Dedicated Servers, Colocation, Domains, SSL Certificates, Email, DNS, L7 DDoS Protection and Web Design. The combination is broader than a conventional shared-hosting provider and makes ValueHost suitable for customers who may begin with a simple website and later require physical server rental or colocation.

Shared hosting runs on SSD storage and ValueHost's own management platform. The principal plans provide 25 GB, 50 GB, 75 GB and 200 GB of SSD space, together with progressively higher limits for websites, databases and FTP accounts. The corresponding limits reach 15, 30, 50 and 100 sites or web servers depending on the package. An Antivirus V.I.P. package adds 100 GB SSD capacity. Supported technologies include PHP, Python, Ruby on Rails, Perl, MySQL and PostgreSQL, while the newer platform architecture combines FreeBSD, Apache/Nginx, current PHP branches and MySQL/MariaDB or PostgreSQL.

The products sold under the ValueATOM and ValueTRON names deserve particular attention because ValueHost uses the term VPS differently from most hosting providers. These are physical dedicated servers rather than ordinary virtual machines sharing a host node. ValueATOM Standard uses an Intel N100 processor with 8 GB RAM, while ValueTRON raises memory to 16 GB. Managed configurations include the ValueHost control panel, monitoring, administration, backups and 24/7 technical support. Unmanaged variants remove most of those managed services and leave server administration to the customer.

Managed dedicated servers receive active monitoring and nightly backups, with backup copies retained for up to seven days. ValueATOM Personal provides another variation aimed at customers using compatible customer-owned hardware.

The current storage specification for ValueATOM and ValueTRON is not completely consistent, with some current specifications giving 100 GB or 200 GB SSD capacity and another dedicated-server specification giving a 500 GB SSD baseline. The actual included drive size should therefore be confirmed before ordering a dedicated configuration.

Colocation Hosting is available in Saint Petersburg for 1U, 2U, 3U/bigtower and tower systems, together with full 42U rack rental. A standard 100 Mbps full-duplex connection is included with individual colocation packages, while 1 Gbps connectivity can be added. Extra IP addresses, additional electrical outlets, KVM access and remote rebooting are also available. ValueHost can additionally assemble a server to customer specifications and install it in the facility.

Domain services cover Russian, international and country-code extensions. Available zones include .RU, .РФ, .SU, .COM, .NET, .ORG, .INFO, .BIZ, .ME, .DE, .IT, .CO.UK, .CH and .AT, along with many additional extensions. DNS management is integrated into the ValueHost platform and supports the usual A, CNAME, MX, TXT and SRV records.

Email functionality is integrated into hosting accounts and includes mailboxes, storage quotas, forwarding, autoresponders and webmail. This is useful for customers that prefer to manage website, domain, DNS and email services through the same platform.

ValueHost also offers SSL Certificates through its BIGWEB Partner range. Options include standard single-domain SSL, Wildcard SSL and Multi-Domain SSL certificates.

L7Guard Premium combines application-layer DDoS protection with website acceleration. Functions include automatic SSL, malicious-request filtering, bot filtering, optional geographic restrictions, reduced origin-server load and HTTP/3/QUIC support. During 2026, ValueHost also added post-quantum TLS support based on X25519MLKEM768.

Web-development services remain available for customers that need a complete website rather than hosting alone. Packages range from relatively simple business-card websites to database-backed business sites and larger corporate portals.

ValueHost is primarily a Russian-language service and prices are denominated in Russian rubles (RUB). No multi-language/localized version exists, and there is no English storefront. The website retains an older desktop-era layout and information architecture compared with modern cloud platforms, although the hosting catalog and company software continue to receive updates.

Historically, ValueHost also had a close infrastructure relationship with Utransit. During the mid-2000s, parts of the ValueHost infrastructure were transferred into Utransit operations, and ValueHost servers were moved from Moscow infrastructure to the Utransit network connecting Moscow, Saint Petersburg and London. ValueHost later continued developing its own hosting business and expanded its US presence.
