Upflare is a hosting, domain, and cloud-services provider with a history dating back to 2007. The current European operator is UPFLARE OÜ, an Estonian private limited company incorporated on February 19, 2025, under registration number 17181069 and EU VAT number EE102832121. Xhuljan Meta is the founder, sole shareholder, beneficial owner, and board member of the Estonian company. An Albanian company using the Upflare name was also established by Meta in 2023. The organization remains relatively small, with LinkedIn placing it in the 2–10 employee range.

The service range covers domain registration and transfers, Linux shared hosting, WordPress hosting, business hosting, cloud VPS, business email, SSL certificates, cPanel licenses, WHMCS licenses, DNS tools, WHOIS services, and website migration. Dedicated servers, a dedicated-server auction, and Box Storage are also included in the broader service catalog, although these products are still marked as coming soon rather than available for normal ordering.

Shared Hosting is aimed at personal websites, small companies, developers, and conventional PHP applications. Web Launch supports one website with 25 GB NVMe storage, while Web Enhance increases capacity to 25 websites and 50 GB NVMe. Web Deluxe includes 50 websites and 100 GB, and Web Ultimate reaches 100 websites with 200 GB NVMe storage. Unlimited bandwidth and unlimited email accounts are included throughout the range.

The shared environment combines cPanel, CloudLinux account isolation, LiteSpeed web-server technology, JetBackup, and Softaculous. Daily backups, free website migration, lifetime SSL, and a 99.9% uptime guarantee are included. This combination makes the service suitable for WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, and other PHP/MySQL applications without requiring customers to administer the underlying server.

WordPress Hosting uses a similar platform but packages the resources specifically for WordPress installations. WordPress Launch includes one website and 25 GB NVMe storage, WordPress Enhance supports 25 websites and 50 GB, while WordPress Deluxe increases capacity to 50 websites and 100 GB. Unlimited bandwidth and email accounts remain included, together with cPanel, SSL, daily backups, and the 99.9% uptime guarantee.

Business Hosting provides substantially larger allocations for agencies, companies with many websites, and heavier projects. Business Launch includes unlimited websites, 300 GB NVMe storage, unlimited bandwidth, and unlimited email accounts. Business Enhance increases the storage allowance to 400 GB while retaining the same unlimited website and transfer model. Both plans use cPanel and include the 99.9% uptime guarantee.

Cloud VPS provides substantially more dedicated computing resources and is available in Germany and the United States. VPS-21 includes 3 vCPU cores, 4 GB RAM, 80 GB NVMe storage, and 20 TB traffic. VPS-31 increases this to 4 vCPU, 8 GB RAM, and 160 GB NVMe, while VPS-41 provides 8 vCPU, 16 GB RAM, and 240 GB NVMe. VPS-51 reaches 16 vCPU, 32 GB RAM, and 360 GB NVMe storage. The VPS platform includes both shared-vCPU and dedicated-vCPU options, allowing customers to choose between lower-cost general workloads and applications requiring more consistent processing capacity.

Domain registration is another important part of the business. More than 1,200 domain extensions are available, accompanied by domain transfers, WHOIS lookup, DNS management, and an AI-assisted domain-name generator. Representative registration prices include €13.89/year for .com, €8.99/year for .al, €9.99/year for .eu, €18.99/year for .net, and €59.99/year for .io. Registration, renewal, and transfer prices can differ by extension.

Upflare also supports domain reseller activity through reseller accounts and API-based management. This gives hosting companies and web agencies a way to integrate domain registrations into their own customer-facing services rather than manually processing individual registrations.

Business Email is available through Google Workspace and OX App Suite/Open-Xchange. Google Workspace combines professional domain-based email with Google's collaboration environment, while OX App Suite provides an alternative platform incorporating mail, calendars, contacts, and storage features.

The security and software catalog includes paid SSL certificates with Domain Validation, wildcard, and Extended Validation options. Ordinary hosting customers already receive automated SSL certificates with their hosting accounts, making the separately purchased certificates more relevant when a specific certificate type or validation level is needed. Certificate services include products associated with Sectigo.

Upflare also sells cPanel licenses for customers running their own servers. Solo covers one account, Pro supports five accounts, and Premier begins with 100 accounts and can be used on larger server deployments. WHMCS Plus, Professional, and Business licenses are available for hosting companies requiring automated billing, customer management, provisioning, and service renewals.

Migration assistance is another useful component. Websites, WordPress installations, email accounts, and domains can be transferred, and website migration is free. This is particularly valuable for customers moving an established cPanel or WordPress website because much of the technical transfer work can be handled without an additional migration charge.

The website and customer-facing service are primarily in English, and product pricing is primarily offered in euros. Prices generally exclude VAT unless explicitly indicated otherwise.

The corporate structure has changed over time. The current European business operates through Estonia, while older contractual material also contains references connected with Albania and earlier legal frameworks. Some agreements still retain legacy wording originating from previous versions of the business documentation. Customers requiring a particular contracting jurisdiction for accounting, tax, data-processing, or compliance purposes should therefore confirm which legal entity applies to their individual order.
