UnixStorm.org is a Polish web hosting company operated by Unix Storm - Michał Gottlieb. The business dates to 2007, with commercial activity starting on October 1, 2007. Michał Gottlieb is the owner and CEO, while the administrative office is located in Wrocław and the hosting infrastructure remains in Poland.

UnixStorm has developed a broad portfolio ranging from inexpensive shared hosting to WordPress hosting, reseller accounts, VPS, dedicated servers, domain registration, and SSL certificates. The company operates its own production servers and network equipment, with its hosting hardware colocated at 3S Data Center in Katowice, operated within the Play/P4 infrastructure.

The regular Shared Hosting range runs from F0 through F5. F0 includes 1 GB SSD storage and 10 GB monthly transfer, while larger plans reach 200 GB SSD storage and 2 TB monthly transfer. Hosting includes email accounts, MySQL databases, PHP, free SSL certificates, backups, and an application installer. Management is handled through DirectAdmin (directadmin.com), while SSH is available as an additional option on most standard plans.

Backup protection is one of the practical strengths of the shared platform. Databases are copied every night, files are backed up every seven days, and backup copies can remain available for up to 30 days on separate systems. Restoring data does not carry an additional recovery charge. The hosting service operates with a 99.80% annual uptime SLA.

WordPress Hosting is built for considerably higher application performance. WP-1 through WP-4 use NVMe storage in RAID-10, LiteSpeed Enterprise, LiteSpeed Cache, Redis, WP-Rocket, Imunify360, SSH, WP-CLI, and UnixStorm's own WP-Storm management tools. Resource allocations scale from one CPU core and 1 GB RAM on WP-1 to four CPU cores and 4 GB RAM on WP-4. Free WordPress migration is included.

The Reseller Hosting service is based on the DirectAdmin environment and supports white-label hosting, private nameservers, separate customer accounts, custom hosting packages, and DirectAdmin API access. Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum plans range from 20 GB to 200 GB SSD storage. The plans allow an unlimited number of customer accounts within the assigned resource limits and include backups and the same 99.80% annual SLA.

VPS Hosting uses KVM virtualization and is available either as a basic virtual server or as a managed VPS with DirectAdmin. The managed variants add system administration, external backups, and the DirectAdmin license. Configurations range from one virtual CPU with 4 GB RAM and 20 GB SSD storage to eight virtual CPUs with 10 GB RAM and 100 GB SSD storage. Debian is the standard operating system, while other Linux distributions can also be arranged.

Additional VPS options include extra IP addresses, increased transfer allowances, software installation, security services, and Cloudflare Pro protection.

Dedicated Servers use Dell enterprise hardware with redundant power supplies, hardware RAID, system administration, external backups, DirectAdmin, and continuous server monitoring. Configurations combine SSD storage with optional high-capacity SATA storage, while monthly transfer allowances extend into several terabytes. Dedicated server monitoring operates 24/7.

UnixStorm also provides Domain Registration. Polish .pl domains are an important part of the service, and domain transfers can be completed without a transfer fee or any obligation to keep the domain permanently with UnixStorm.

SSL services include both the free SSL certificates supplied with hosting and commercial certificates from Trustico. Single-domain and wildcard products are available for customers requiring a commercial certificate rather than the free certificate included with hosting.

The website and customer environment are primarily Polish-language, while service prices are denominated in PLN. No equivalent fully localized English storefront exists, making the service most convenient for Polish-speaking customers.

Shared hosting also has clearly defined CPU, process, database, and other technical resource limits. Features such as unlimited email accounts or databases therefore apply to account quantities rather than unrestricted server-processing resources.
