UHost is a North Macedonian hosting provider and domain registrar operating since 2006 through TIM KORPOREJSHN DOOEL in Kavadarci. The company was founded by Eftim Iliev and has grown into a diversified local hosting business offering Linux and Windows shared hosting, reseller accounts, Cloud VPS, dedicated servers, domain registration, SSL certificates and web development. Its business framework also includes ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 20000-1:2018 standards.

Linux Hosting is based on cPanel and NVMe storage, with packages ranging from 1 GB to 20 GB of disk space and monthly traffic allowances from 150 GB to 3 TB. Accounts include unlimited email and FTP accounts, automatic SSL/TLS, WordPress Toolkit, Softaculous, Imunify360 and automated offsite backups. Customers can choose between Germany and Macedonia for Linux hosting, giving local businesses the option of keeping their websites closer to North Macedonian visitors while still having access to a Central European hosting location.

The separate cPanel Promo range provides substantially more storage for customers who need conventional shared hosting with larger quotas. Promo M includes 15 GB NVMe storage and 1.5 TB monthly traffic for one website, Promo L increases this to 30 GB and 3 TB for three websites, while Promo XL provides 50 GB, 5 TB traffic, five websites and a free .mk domain. WordPress Toolkit, Auto SSL/TLS, email, databases and offsite backups are included.

Windows Hosting uses Plesk and is aimed at customers running Microsoft technologies. The packages range from 1 GB to 20 GB of storage and support MSSQL, MySQL, multiple PHP versions, ASP.NET/.NET applications, WordPress Toolkit and automatic SSL certificates. Maintaining both Windows and Linux hosting gives UHost a broader range than providers that concentrate entirely on PHP/Linux environments.

Reseller Hosting is based on cPanel/WHM and located in Germany. Packages provide 20 GB, 50 GB or 100 GB of storage, monthly traffic allowances between 500 GB and 2 TB, and capacity for 15, 25 or 50 separate cPanel accounts. Private nameservers, unlimited domains, databases and email accounts, Auto SSL/TLS and backup facilities are included, making the service suitable for designers, developers and smaller hosting resellers.

The newer Cloud VPS platform is divided into self-managed and managed services. Self-managed virtual servers use KVM virtualization, AMD EPYC processors, ECC memory and NVMe storage in RAID 10. The entry CLOUD1 configuration includes 2 vCores, 2 GB RAM, 50 GB NVMe storage, 5 TB monthly traffic, a 100 Mbps connection, one IP address and root access. Larger configurations scale to 8 vCores, 8 GB RAM, 200 GB NVMe storage and 20 TB of monthly traffic.

Cloud VPS customers receive a server-management interface for starting, stopping and rebooting the virtual machine, monitoring CPU, memory, disk and bandwidth consumption, reinstalling the operating system, managing backups or snapshots and accessing the machine through VNC. Additional RAM, CPU resources, storage, traffic and IP addresses can be purchased when required. cPanel, Plesk and Webmin/Virtualmin are also available as management options.

The Managed Cloud VPS range combines the KVM platform with server administration and cPanel/WHM. Bronze, Silver and Gold configurations provide between 4 GB and 8 GB RAM, 2 to 6 vCores and 50 GB to 150 GB of NVMe storage. The managed environment incorporates CloudLinux, Imunify360, PHP X-Ray, mod_lsapi, HardenedPHP and AcceleratedWP, making these packages better suited to businesses that require VPS resources without wanting responsibility for routine Linux administration.

Dedicated Servers are available in Germany and Finland, with configurations based on AMD Ryzen, Intel Xeon and AMD EPYC processors. The range extends from mainstream systems with 64 GB RAM to much larger servers with several hundred gigabytes of ECC memory. NVMe and SATA SSD configurations, software or hardware RAID, root access, one IPv4 address and 1 Gbps connectivity are available. Current dedicated-server packages include unlimited monthly traffic. Some older contractual wording still refers to traffic quotas and excess-transfer charges, so bandwidth conditions should be confirmed for the exact server configuration being ordered.

Domain registration is another important part of the business. UHost handles .mk, .com.mk, .net.mk, .org.mk, .edu.mk, .inf.mk and Cyrillic .мкд domains, together with widely used international extensions such as .com, .net, .org and .eu. Macedonian domains can be registered and managed online, with DNS and nameserver administration included. Current .mk procedures follow the rules introduced by MARnet from February 11, 2025.

The security portfolio includes Domain Validation, Business Validation, Extended Validation and Wildcard SSL certificates. Standard hosting customers already receive automatic SSL/TLS, while commercial certificates are available for organizations needing business validation, wildcard protection or independently issued certificates.

The product catalog still includes some older cPanel- and Webmin-oriented VPS configurations alongside the newer KVM Cloud VPS products. For a new order, the managed and self-managed Cloud VPS ranges are the more relevant options.

The company’s main website is primarily in Macedonian, while the customer area also provides English and Russian interfaces. Hosting and domain prices are primarily quoted in Macedonian denars (MKD). The website design has a noticeably older character compared with modern hosting storefronts, and some legacy documentation has not been fully synchronized with the newer product portfolio. References to older communication services such as MSN also remain in the contractual documentation.
