Trabia is a Moldova-based data center and hosting provider with a history that goes back to September 2001, when the business began in Düsseldorf, Germany as a freelance IT consulting operation. It was incorporated in March 2003 as Trabia-Network e.K. in Düsseldorf, then expanded to Moldova in December 2005 through Trabia SRL in Chișinău. During 2006, operations moved from Germany to Moldova, and by the end of 2009 Trabia had developed beyond IT consulting into its own data center and hosting services.

The company is focused more on infrastructure hosting than ordinary retail shared hosting. Their main services include Virtual Dedicated Servers, Dedicated Servers, Colocation, and DDoS Protection. This makes Trabia more suitable for technically experienced customers, developers, network operators, SaaS projects, VPN platforms, hosting resellers, and businesses that need server-level control in Moldova or Eastern Europe.

Their Virtual Dedicated Server line uses KVM virtualization, SSD RAID storage, IPv4 and IPv6 support, and bandwidth options that scale by plan.
