*📜 Plan description

Super Powerful is the top standard Linux VPS tier and is designed for demanding workloads that require substantial CPU, RAM, storage and bandwidth while remaining on a fully managed virtualized platform instead of moving to dedicated hardware. The plan provides 350 GB SSD space, 5 TB of monthly bandwidth, 8 CPU cores and 16 GB DDR4 RAM, giving enough capacity to host multiple high traffic websites, resource intensive ecommerce stores, busy community forums or complex application stacks combining web front ends, background workers and database services. cPanel and WHM plus a free cPanel Solo license give you the ability to structure the VPS like a small hosting environment, with separate accounts for different projects or customers. A free domain registration, free domain transfer and free website migration are included, which is useful when consolidating several sites from other providers. Unlimited email accounts, unlimited sub and parked domains and unlimited MySQL databases give freedom in how many properties you run, and free SSL certificates cover all hosted domains, keeping everything on HTTPS without extra license fees. The high core count and RAM make Super Powerful suitable for applications with many concurrent users, heavy PHP or MySQL workloads, or multi site WordPress and WooCommerce setups.

Pricing for Super Powerful starts at 139.99 USD per month when paid triennially, which is the lowest effective monthly cost in the pricing table. If you prefer shorter terms, the same configuration is offered at about 148.74 USD per month on biennial billing, 157.49 USD per month on annual billing and 174.99 USD per month when paid monthly, again shown as monthly equivalents so you can see the savings from longer commitments. Super Powerful sits on the same TMD Cloud infrastructure as the other VPS plans, benefiting from guaranteed resources, fully N+1 redundant compute, storage and network, and constant performance tuning by site reliability engineers. The VPS includes a dedicated IP address, daily backups with 30 restore points, premium caching, free CloudFlare CDN, SSH and SFTP access, Softaculous autoinstaller, multiple PHP versions including PHP 8, MySQL 8 and MariaDB, and HTTP/2 enabled web servers. The platform is fully managed, with the provider handling OS maintenance, proactive updates and patches, in house server monitoring, hardware and power redundancy, reinforced DDoS protection and a hardened web application firewall. TMDHosting backs the service with a 30 day money back guarantee and a 99.9 percent uptime guarantee, and offers deployments in data centers across the US, GB, NL, SG, AU and JP so you can place workloads near your audience. Premium support is available 24/7/365 via ticketing, live chat and phone with a focus on rapid response and high first contact resolution, and the team assists with migrations, app and component installation and troubleshooting of complex issues, making Super Powerful an appropriate choice for mission critical Linux VPS hosting.

📄 Editorial Review

TMDHosting is a long-running hosting provider that has been operating since 2007, founder by Peter Darazhanski and is headquartered in Orlando, Florida. Over the years they have evolved from classic shared hosting into a broader cloud and managed hosting platform built around their own "TMD Cloud" infrastructure. Their positioning is very clear: fully managed hosting with real human support, a global data center footprint and an emphasis on speed, security and convenience for users who do not want to manage servers themselves.

The main catalogue covers most standard hosting use cases: Linux shared hosting, managed WordPress and WooCommerce hosting, Linux and Windows VPS, Windows shared hosting, dedicated servers, reseller-style solutions (via multi-site shared plans and VPS/dedicated), and a large portfolio of "solution" packages for specific applications. These app-focused plans include hosting tailored for popular CMS platforms (WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, Elementor, Divi), ecommerce apps (WooCommerce, PrestaShop, Magento, OpenCart), developer frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, Django, Node.js, Vue.js, React.js, Angular), e-learning systems, ERP platforms, Docker, and various databases. In practice, these are usually specialized environments on top of their standard Linux shared or VPS infrastructure, but they are presented as targeted solutions for customers who want one-click installs and tuned defaults.

Linux shared hosting is one of the pillars of the offering. These plans are cPanel-based and come in three tiers (Starter, Business and Enterprise). Even the entry plan includes SSD storage, LiteSpeed web server, free SSL certificates, CloudLinux-based isolation, Cloudflare CDN integration, a free domain, multiple server locations, and a 99.9% uptime guarantee. Higher tiers increase resources (SSD space, performance multiplier, backups) and unlock unlimited websites and databases. TMDHosting clearly aims these plans at both beginners and small businesses who want a straightforward, fully managed environment with one-click installations and free migration.

For users who prefer a platform tuned specifically for WordPress, there is a separate managed WordPress hosting line, promoted as using cPanel’s WordPress Toolkit with extra security and performance optimizations. WooCommerce hosting reuses that foundation but is marketed towards online stores, with the same managed approach and focus on stability, updates and assistance from support engineers familiar with WordPress-based ecommerce.

On the server side, TMDHosting offers fully managed Linux VPS and Windows VPS hosting, as well as managed dedicated servers. The Linux VPS plans are positioned as a step up from shared hosting, providing more CPU/RAM, greater customization and root-level flexibility while retaining management and support from TMD’s team. Windows VPS and Windows shared hosting target ASP.NET and Plesk users, so they fill the .NET-oriented niche that many purely Linux-focused hosts ignore. Dedicated servers are marketed to customers with high-traffic websites or custom applications that need dedicated resources and tailored management. There are also custom deployment options for larger or more specific projects where TMDHosting’s engineers design and manage a bespoke infrastructure on top of their cloud platform.

The entire platform is tied together by their TMD Cloud infrastructure and TMD Portal. The TMD Cloud is described as a highly available, N+1 redundant architecture based on modern hardware (Supermicro servers with Intel processors) and enterprise networking from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Dell and Arista, orchestrated with technologies like OpenStack and Ceph. The TMD Portal acts as a higher-level management interface around traditional control panels, letting customers deploy solutions, manage domains and SSL certificates, and interact with the support team from one place. Overall, the company presents itself as a fully managed hosting partner rather than just a raw infrastructure seller, and the product line reflects this managed, support-driven philosophy.

😁 Hi there,

I wanted to share my experience with TMDHosting (tmdhosting.com). I have several years’ experience in the hosting industry and even worked as a System Administrator for Bluehost before (and after) EIG stepped in and wrecked things. I know how the hosting industry works and I must say, it is truly hard to find a good hosting company that checks all the boxes and are NOT owned by EIG.

Prior to signing up for TMDHosting, I signed up for shared hosting on Eleven2.com, site5.com, and StableHost.com. Unfortunately, all of which I experienced site performance issues and overall slowness. I even signed up for a VPS and still experienced performance issues and was consistently told by support to upgrade to a Dedicated server. My website runs off Wordpress and does not have any intensive plugins or really anything on it that is performance heavy. Nothing has changed on my website since hosting with the other providers and things run smoothly on the TMDHosting servers. I signed up for a VPS 3 years ago and couldn't be happier, truly!

TMDHosting support is top notch and has gone above and beyond for me and well exceeded my expectations. TMDHosting offers TRUE 24/7 technical support and is always friendly to interact with via live chat, phone or email. As a business owner, you never want to think "is my website still up?". With TMDHosting, I don't have to worry. No downtime in the 3 years I have been a client. I know that support is there when needed and they have a great business model that is here to stay.

This review is based on my own experience and as a business owner, I am a fan of posting good feedback when it is deserved.

I am very impressed with TMDHosting and look forward too many more years to come!
