TheHost is an established Ukrainian hosting provider operating since 2007, with a service range that goes well beyond conventional shared hosting. The company works with standard and premium web hosting, reseller hosting, Cloud VPS/VDS, dedicated servers, colocation, KeepData cloud storage, domain registration, SSL certificates, software licenses, server administration and additional infrastructure services. More than 64,000 websites use its hosting services.

The legal operator is TheHost LLC, registered in Ukraine under EDRPOU 45581529 and VAT number 455815210135. The TheHost trademark is registered in Ukraine under certificate No. 168690. The company also received a Consumers Choice 2020 recognition from the All-Ukrainian Industry Analytical Center.

Shared Hosting runs on NVMe storage and includes PHP, MySQL and PostgreSQL databases, email accounts, DNS management, backups, CMS support and website protection. SSH access is included with suitable packages. Multiple PHP generations are available, including older versions useful for maintaining legacy applications as well as current PHP 8.x releases. Customers can select hosting in Ukraine, Germany or the USA, making it possible to place websites closer to their main audience.

Premium Hosting adds substantially higher resource limits and more developer functionality. SSH, Git/Subversion, Memcached, CRON, automated backups, Node.js, NPM and Yarn are available, while larger packages include considerably more CPU resources and can include a dedicated IP address. A 7-day trial is available, which is particularly useful when moving an existing application and checking compatibility before paying for a longer term.

Reseller Hosting is intended for agencies, developers and hosting resellers that want to provide accounts under their own brand. Individual customer accounts can be isolated from each other, while hosting templates and configurable limits allow the purchased resources to be divided into custom packages. Resellers are free to establish their own customer pricing.

The Cloud VPS/VDS platform uses KVM virtualization with NVMe storage. VPS locations are available in Ukraine and Germany, with configurations ranging from small entry-level virtual machines to considerably larger servers with additional CPU, RAM and storage. Extra IPv4 and IPv6 addresses, snapshots, scheduled backups, server administration and anti-DDoS protection can be added when required. The entry Cloud-1 configuration has 1 CPU core, 1 GB RAM, 20 GB NVMe storage and a 100 Mbps network connection. Cloud VPS plans also qualify for the seven-day trial.

Dedicated Servers provide fully isolated physical hardware in Ukraine. Available configurations cover smaller Intel systems through more powerful Xeon platforms using HDD, SSD and NVMe storage. Customers receive remote IP-KVM access, IPv4/IPv6 connectivity and freedom to install their preferred operating system. Hardware RAID and additional storage can be added to compatible configurations. These servers are suitable for high-load websites, databases, virtualization and applications where guaranteed physical resources are preferable to a virtual environment.

KeepData Cloud Storage provides separate storage capacity accessible through FTP/FTPS, SFTP and WebDAV, with access speeds reaching up to 10 Gbps. The storage architecture uses industrial RAID arrays with additional redundancy at storage-server level. Packages range from smaller backup allocations to multi-terabyte capacity suitable for server backups, archives and IP-camera recordings.

The company also operates Colocation infrastructure in Kyiv and the Kyiv region, with options including Internet connectivity up to 1 Gbps, IPv4/IPv6 addresses, VLAN functionality and remote-management capabilities. New colocation orders are currently temporarily unavailable, so this service is mainly relevant to existing customers until new placements reopen.

Domain services cover registration, renewal and transfers together with DNS-related services, privacy options and reseller functionality. SSL certificates are available separately, including standard domain-validated certificates and more advanced certificate products. Additional services include CMS installation, treatment of infected websites, server administration, additional IP addresses and advanced anti-DDoS protection.
