THC.ro is a Romanian web hosting and infrastructure provider with roots going back to 2013. The business was started by Catalin Florica together with a university colleague and initially developed around affordable international hosting services. The Romanian THC.ro operation followed later, in 2019, using the technical experience and infrastructure accumulated during the earlier years.

Catalin Florica has been closely associated with the business since its beginning and served as CEO of THC Projects SRL (thcprojects.ro). The wider organization expanded beyond conventional shared hosting and developed a technical team covering system administration, development, design and customer support.

THC.ro later changed ownership through a strategic acquisition. The former THC Projects organization now treats THC.ro as a former flagship business, while current customer contracts and legal administration are handled by Minerva Networks LLC (minerva.net) in Sheridan, Wyoming. The hosting operation itself remains strongly connected to Romania through its infrastructure, support services and Craiova-area data-center presence.

The company has grown to more than 15,500 active customers, 21,000 managed domains, 650 active servers and 300 resellers. This gives THC.ro considerably more operational depth than a small shared-hosting provider, particularly because the same portfolio extends from entry-level websites to VPS, dedicated hardware and colocation.

The product range covers Shared Web Hosting, WordPress Hosting, Reseller Hosting, Magento Hosting, Cloud VPS, Dedicated Servers, GPU Servers, Colocation, Domain Registration, Domain Transfers and SSL Certificates. This creates a practical migration path for customers who begin with a basic website but later need dedicated resources or their own colocated hardware.

Shared Web Hosting uses NVMe storage with unmetered traffic. Bronze includes 10 GB NVMe storage, five hosted domains, ten email accounts, free SSL, daily backups, DDoS protection and cPanel for €3.95 per month. Silver increases the storage allocation to 30 GB and removes the stated domain and mailbox limits for €6.95 per month. Gold, Platinum and Diamond raise storage to 80 GB, 140 GB and 200 GB while also providing progressively larger CPU, RAM, process and I/O allocations.

Shared accounts include cPanel, phpMyAdmin, selectable PHP versions, Softaculous application installation, anti-spam protection, free SSL certificates, daily backups and automatic activation. A website builder with more than 170 templates is also available. Free website migration makes switching providers easier, and the clearly defined CPU and memory limits give customers a better indication of the resources available to each account.

WordPress Hosting is more performance-focused and combines NVMe storage with LiteSpeed, LSCache, Redis, WP Toolkit and Imunify360. WP Start includes 30 GB NVMe, two websites, 4 GB RAM and a 9.9 GHz CPU allocation for €9.95 per month. WP Boost increases capacity to 50 GB, four websites and 8 GB RAM for €11.95 per month. WP Pro provides 100 GB, 20 GB RAM, unlimited hosted domains and a dedicated IP for €22.95 per month, while WP Supreme reaches 200 GB storage and 40 GB RAM for €39.95 per month.

The WordPress packages also include free migration, automated daily backups, SSL, email hosting and DDoS protection. The combination of LiteSpeed, Redis and generous resource limits makes these packages much more appropriate for WooCommerce stores, busy business websites and larger WordPress projects than ordinary low-cost shared hosting.

Magento Hosting has its own optimized environment with LiteSpeed, LiteMage and Elasticsearch. Accounts include terminal access, a dedicated IP, free SSL, exploit scanning, daily backups and cPanel. The Light package starts at €10.95 per month with 20 GB SSD storage, two CPU cores and 4 GB RAM. Medium increases capacity to 40 GB, four CPU cores and 8 GB RAM, while Large and ExtraLarge provide substantially larger allocations. The largest package reaches 140 GB SSD storage, ten CPU cores and 24 GB RAM. Magento installation and migration assistance are included.

Reseller Hosting is based on NVMe storage with cPanel and WHM. StartUP provides 60 GB storage for €10.95 per month, Business 160 GB for €29.95, Enterprise 360 GB for €59.95 and Corporate 600 GB for €99.95. Traffic and cPanel account creation are unmetered within the normal service restrictions, while individual customer accounts receive their own CPU, memory, process and I/O allocations.

The Cloud VPS platform uses OpenStack virtualization, NVMe storage, RAID 10 and support for both Linux and Windows. LSSD-2G starts at €4.96 per month with one CPU core, 2 GB RAM and 40 GB NVMe. LSSD-4G provides two CPU cores, 4 GB RAM and 80 GB storage for €9.13 per month. Larger plans scale through 8 GB, 16 GB and 32 GB RAM, with the upper standard configuration reaching 16 CPU cores, 32 GB RAM and 500 GB NVMe for €83.30 per month.

VPS packages include unmetered traffic, one dedicated IP and full root or Administrator access. Additional IP addresses are available, and resources can be upgraded or downgraded without reinstalling the server. cPanel and Plesk remain optional, so customers comfortable with direct Linux or Windows administration do not have to pay for a commercial panel.

Dedicated Servers are divided into Budget, Computing, Storage, Big Data, Hosting and GPU Server ranges. Entry pricing begins at €59.95 per month for an LBX-A1 equipped with an Intel Core i5-14600K, 32 GB DDR5 ECC RAM, two 1 TB Gen4 NVMe drives and unmetered 1 Gbps connectivity. Higher tiers use Ryzen 9, Intel Xeon and AMD EPYC processors with greater memory, storage and network capacity, including configurations with 10 Gbps connectivity.

Storage-oriented servers provide large HDD or SSD arrays, while computing systems use high-core-count Xeon and EPYC processors. GPU servers extend the platform toward machine learning, rendering, scientific workloads and other applications requiring hardware acceleration. Dedicated systems include full root access, a dedicated IPv4 address, multiple operating-system choices and hardware or software RAID depending on the configuration.

Colocation Hosting is available in the Craiova-area infrastructure and ranges from a single server to full racks. A 1U allocation costs €50 per month and includes one IPv4 address, redundant power feeds, 1 Gbps connectivity, iLO/iDRAC access, remote hands and electricity. 2U costs €60 and 4U €80. Half-rack capacity of 21U starts at €200 per month, while a full 42U rack begins at €350 per month. Larger installations can use 1, 10 or 100 Gbps connectivity, with electricity charged separately at €0.278 per kWh where applicable.

Domain Registration covers hundreds of country-code and generic extensions, with the portfolio exceeding 1,000 available TLD choices. Examples include .ro at €8.25, .com at €14.38, .net at €15.86 and .org at €15.97. Domain locking, renewal controls and DNS management are included, while compatible extensions can add WHOIS privacy for €4 per year. Domain transfers are handled using the standard EPP authorization process.

SSL Certificates are available in addition to the free SSL included with hosting accounts. Commercial certificates include products from established certificate authorities, with paid options beginning at around €30 per year.

The main website is modern and responsive and is primarily available in Romanian. The customer area also supports English. A complete localized English version of the main commercial website does not exist. Hosting prices are primarily displayed in Euro and exclude VAT.
