Our Co-location service allows you to deploy your Internet applications by placing your own server in our Network Operations Center. This provides you with the following benefits:
Direct connectivity to the Internet.
Reliable power supply, with redundant UPS and automatic power generators.
Climate control.
Secure Access.
Server: Your server must be 19" rack mountable with a maximum height of 4Units. If desired, we can host a tower server at an additional monthly fee.
Accessibility: We recommend that you use software solutions to remotely access your machine. Examples are: Windows Terminal Services, Pc Anywhere, or UNIX shell. We provide limited maintenance by telephone, including basic handling like the reset button, placing a CD, or power cycling the machine. You can also have physical access to the machine for an hourly fee. This fee is requested because physical access requires that one of our technicians stays with you in the computer room for security reasons.
Security: By default, your server will be directly connected to the public Internet. Depending on your operating system and how you configure your server, this might make it vulnerable to attacks of different kinds. If desired, you can request a firewall service which will increase the security of your machine.

TerraNet S.A.L. is a long-established Lebanese Internet service provider headquartered in Beirut. Founded in 1999, the company has developed into a nationwide communications provider serving residential users, businesses, public organizations, and customers requiring locally managed Internet infrastructure.TerraNet is more than a conventional web hosting company. Its service portfolio combines residential and business Internet access, dedicated connectivity, fiber connections, ADSL, HDSL, wireless Internet, domain registration, email services, shared hosting, colocation, network consulting, VPN implementation, private WAN design, LAN installation, web applications, email security, and parental-control services. This broad scope is useful for Lebanese organizations that prefer to obtain Internet connectivity, hosting, email, and technical support from the same local provider.
The company separates its services into several product groups. TerraPro covers dedicated Internet access, business fiber, HDSL, and other connectivity solutions for companies. TerraCasa includes residential ADSL, fiber, and wireless Internet. TerraWeb handles domains, email, shared hosting, colocation, and web development. TerraPlus adds corporate email filtering, network consulting, VPN deployment, private WAN infrastructure, LAN installation, intranet development, and customized web applications.
The shared hosting range consists of Basic, Standard, Advanced, Premium, and Professional packages. Storage starts at 200 MB and reaches 5 GB, while included monthly data transfer ranges from 1 GB to 7 GB. The entry package does not include an SQL database, while the larger plans support as many as two databases.
Hosting functionality includes FTP access, domain administration, email management, traffic statistics, server log access, custom error pages, and optional backup restoration. Additional mailboxes can also be purchased when the allocation included with a package is insufficient.
The hosting platform is mainly suitable for traditional websites and legacy business applications. Its technical specifications include ASP, ASP.NET, Perl, Java, PHP, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and optional Python support. Some referenced versions, including PHP 4, PHP 5, Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005, MySQL 5.1, and FrontPage Extensions 2002, are obsolete. A customer planning to run WordPress, an online store, or a modern custom application should obtain written confirmation of the current operating system, PHP versions, database versions, SSL support, backup frequency, security tools, and migration options.
TerraNet also manages domain registration for international extensions and Lebanese domain names such as .com.lb, .net.lb, .org.lb, .edu.lb, and .gov.lb. Lebanese domains require supporting documentation and must comply with the eligibility conditions established by the LB Domain Registry.
The company’s email services include TerraNet mailboxes and filtering for companies that use their own domain names. Messages containing viruses are blocked, while suspected spam is placed in quarantine. Users can access the quarantine through a web interface and decide whether messages should be released or deleted. Corporate Email Defense protects employee mailboxes without requiring the business to replace its existing domain.
The colocation service accommodates rack-mount servers up to 4U. Tower servers may also be accepted for an additional monthly fee. The service includes direct Internet connectivity, protected electrical power, generator backup, climate control, and controlled access to equipment.
Optional firewall protection is available for colocated systems. Basic remote-hands assistance can cover tasks such as restarting equipment, inserting media, and performing a power cycle. Customers requiring physical access or more extensive intervention may be charged separately.
Business Internet connectivity is one of TerraNet’s strongest areas. Dedicated Internet packages begin at 2 Mbps and can be customized with higher speeds or unlimited traffic. HDSL includes a subnet containing eight public IP addresses, while business fiber connections can reach speeds of up to 300 Mbps.
For larger companies, TerraNet can design and implement private WANs, secure VPN links between Lebanese or international offices, internal corporate networks, intranet systems, and customized web-based applications. These services make it possible to combine connectivity, network management, hosting, and application development under one contract.
TerraNet became the first Lebanese Internet service provider to obtain ISO quality certification and completed its ISO 9001:2015 upgrade in May 2018. Its quality-management procedures, continuously monitored network, redundant infrastructure, and 24/7 support are important advantages for businesses operating in Lebanon.
The company website retains an older visual design, and parts of the web hosting catalog have not been modernized. The customer account and Internet application systems remain active, however, with residential ADSL and fiber packages priced in Lebanese pounds. The hosting service should therefore be ordered only after receiving an updated commercial and technical proposal.
English is the main language used throughout the company website. The customer account, online application, and terms areas also support Arabic, making the service more accessible to local users. Depending on the product, prices may be shown in US dollars or Lebanese pounds.
