Teracom.hu is a Hungarian domain-registration and web-hosting provider operated by Antal Gyula és Társai Bt. The company was established in 1999 and has maintained a compact business structure focused on affordable hosting for individuals, local organizations and small companies. Antal Gyula Attila is the owner and managing director, while Harsányi Krisztián is also registered as an owner. The company operates with a small team of approximately two employees.

The service portfolio centers on domain registration and Linux shared hosting. Teracom does not maintain a broad cloud infrastructure catalog, and there are no separate VPS, dedicated-server, reseller-hosting, Windows-hosting, managed WordPress or colocation packages. Its straightforward service range is better suited to conventional websites, email accounts and smaller PHP/MySQL projects than demanding business applications.

Six predefined shared-hosting packages are available, together with a customized hosting option. The Starter package includes 200 MB of storage, although new orders for this package are suspended. Light provides 500 MB and one MySQL database, while Medium increases storage to 1 GB with one database. Hard includes 2 GB and two databases, Pro includes 5 GB and five databases, and Extreme provides 10 GB with ten databases. Customers requiring a different allocation can request an individually configured package.

The hosting environment includes a 100 Mb/s connection, unlimited traffic, unlimited hosted domains and unlimited subdomains. Depending on the selected package, customers receive FTP access, PHP support, MySQL databases, email accounts, webmail, email forwarding, spam filtering, virus filtering, custom error pages and phpMyAdmin.

The term "unlimited" applies to traffic, domains and subdomains, but detailed CPU, memory, inode, concurrent-process and database-size restrictions are not specified. Customers planning to operate a busy website, a large database or a resource-intensive application should confirm these limits before ordering.

Teracom began migrating hosting accounts from HDD storage to SSD infrastructure, with new customers placed on the newer platform during the transition. Current package specifications do not clearly confirm whether every active account has completed that migration. Backup frequency, retention periods, restoration charges, malware protection and DDoS mitigation are also not explained in enough detail for business-critical hosting.

Domain registration covers more than 200 extensions. The selection includes Hungarian, European and international domains such as .hu, .eu, .com, .net, .org, .biz, .info, .name, .ws and .us, together with Hungarian second-level extensions including .co.hu, .info.hu and .org.hu. Extensions outside the standard price list can be registered through an individual quotation.

The website and customer environment are available in Hungarian, and hosting prices are displayed in Hungarian forints. No English or multi-language localized version exists. The interface retains an older, fixed-width design that is less convenient on modern mobile devices, while parts of the statistics area contain data ending in 2014.

Teracom’s main website exposes an older PHP 5.6 and Debian 9 software signature. This does not necessarily represent the PHP versions assigned to customer accounts, but current PHP support, security maintenance and upgrade options should be confirmed before hosting a new application.
