Tele Asia is a Hong Kong server-infrastructure and data-center provider established in March 2008. Its core business covers KVM virtual private servers, dedicated servers, server colocation, customized infrastructure, network connectivity and server-management services. The company is better suited to technically experienced customers than beginners looking for simple shared hosting or an all-in-one website package.

The business was founded by two Hong Kong entrepreneurs with previous experience in online services and web hosting. Sam Tam has served as a Tele Asia director, while Clive Rand has been associated professionally with both Tele Asia and Host Hong Kong.

Tele Asia and Host Hong Kong are closely connected operationally. Both use the Fanling facility, while some legal and service documentation connects the Tele Asia infrastructure operation with the Host Hong Kong brand. Conventional shared hosting, reseller hosting and domain-registration services are more closely associated with Host Hong Kong, while Tele Asia concentrates on virtual servers, physical servers, colocation and network services.

The virtual-server range is based on KVM virtualization and is hosted in Hong Kong. The entry-level NAT VPS includes one processor core, 1 GB of RAM, 20 GB of storage, 500 GB of monthly transfer and a /64 IPv6 allocation. It uses a shared IPv4 configuration and is intended for lightweight applications where a dedicated public IPv4 address is unnecessary.

Standard SSD VPS packages begin with 512 MB of RAM and extend to a substantial 128 GB configuration with 16 processor cores, 2.5 TB of SSD storage and 6 TB of monthly data transfer. The 1 GB package includes 40 GB of SSD storage, two IPv4 addresses and 500 GB of transfer. Larger packages progressively increase the processor allowance, memory, disk capacity, transfer quota and number of IPv4 addresses.

These VPS configurations are suitable for developers, private applications, remote services, Asian-market websites and customers that specifically need a Hong Kong IP address. They can also serve as development environments, VPN gateways, monitoring systems, game servers or small business platforms, depending on the selected resources and management level.

The dedicated-server inventory is unusually broad. Customers can choose managed or unmanaged service, request customized hardware, select disk layouts and install Linux, Windows or virtualization platforms. The strongest modern configuration uses an AMD Ryzen 9 9950X processor with 64 GB of RAM and a 2 TB NVMe drive.

A large part of the remaining dedicated inventory uses older processors, including Pentium 4, Core 2 Duo, early Core i3 and i5 models, first-generation Core i7 processors and older Xeon E3 and E5 systems. These machines can still be useful for inexpensive legacy workloads, replacement systems, testing environments and applications with specific compatibility requirements. Buyers should nevertheless confirm the precise processor model, storage condition, available spare parts and expected performance before ordering.

Some dedicated-server specifications contain inconsistencies and typographical mistakes. One configuration contains conflicting processor details, while another confuses disk capacity with memory. Obtaining a written hardware confirmation before payment is therefore particularly important.

Colocation is available from individual 1U servers through quarter, half and full racks. Single-server packages combine rack space, power, IP addresses and network connectivity. Larger packages support multiple systems and progressively greater power allocations.

Remote power control is included with certain single-server colocation arrangements. Network switches, power-distribution units and other supporting equipment are not automatically included with larger rack packages. Remote hands, additional power, extra IP addresses, dedicated bandwidth and hardware assistance can be arranged separately.

The broader service catalog also includes DDoS filtering, browser-based KVM-over-IP access, NAS backup, VPN access, website design and customized programming. VPN, DDoS Shield and NAS Backup packages are not directly available through the active ordering categories, so these services require confirmation and an individual quotation.

Tele Asia operates a white-label dedicated-server reseller program. Discounts begin at 10% for customers maintaining between two and five servers and increase through 15%, 20% and 25% levels. Higher reseller tiers can include KVM access, priority assistance, outsourced technical support and upgrade benefits.

A separate referral program offers recurring commission of up to 10% for the lifetime of an eligible referred service, together with volume-based bonuses. This arrangement can be useful for consultants, developers and hosting companies that refer customers without operating a full reseller account.

The main website is available in English and Traditional Chinese. The customer portal supports Arabic, Azerbaijani, Catalan, Chinese, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Estonian, Persian, French, German, Hebrew, Hungarian, Italian, Macedonian, Norwegian, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish and Ukrainian. These language options apply primarily to the client interface and do not guarantee technical support in every listed language.

Prices can be displayed in Hong Kong dollars, US dollars, British pounds, euros and Chinese renminbi. The website retains a narrow, desktop-era design and contains a mixture of modern services and legacy content. It remains functional for ordering, billing and ticket management, but it lacks the responsive presentation and integrated automation normally associated with newer cloud platforms.
