Tecnocrática is a Spanish hosting, cloud infrastructure, domain registration, data center, and network-services company operated by TECNOCRÁTICA CENTRO DE DATOS SL. The company was founded in 2011 in Madrid by four professionals with previous experience in Spain’s Internet industry: Alfredo, Tomás, Adrián, and Edu. Tomás Ledo Guerrero is associated with the business as founder and CEO.

Tecnocrática is considerably more technically oriented than a typical shared hosting provider. They operate their own autonomous system, manage the underlying network and virtualization infrastructure, and develop much of the software used to administer their services. Their internal platforms include TCPanel, the Pandora domain transaction system, and Inception, a tool used for technical incident research and analysis.

The email platform includes Dovecot, Sieve filtering, antivirus scanning, antispam protection, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and encrypted connections. Hosting accounts can support unlimited email users and devices, although storage, CPU, memory, and other technical limits depend on the selected package.

Multidomain Hosting is suitable for agencies, developers, and businesses that manage several independent websites. The service includes a dedicated IP address, IPv6 connectivity, guaranteed CPU and RAM allocations, up to 20 separate hosting accounts, and unlimited traffic. It is fully managed and does not include root access, although individual websites can still use normal SSH access.

Cloud Servers are available as unmanaged or managed services. Unmanaged servers include root access and support Debian, Ubuntu, CentOS, and other operating systems installed manually. Windows deployments can also be arranged separately.

Managed cloud servers include Tecnocrática’s hosting platform and an administered environment for websites, databases, email, domains, SSL certificates, and SSH access. Every cloud server includes at least one disaster-recovery backup, while additional backup copies can be purchased when greater retention is required.

Domain Registration covers several hundred domain extensions and is suitable for both individual customers and companies managing large domain portfolios. Wholesale customers receive volume pricing, prepaid account balances, REST API access, and automation modules for WHMCS and HostBill.

The domain API includes separate development and production environments, making it practical for registrars, resellers, developers, and hosting companies that need to automate registrations, renewals, transfers, contact changes, and DNS operations.

Additional domain-related products include ownership certificates and commercial SSL certificates. Free Let’s Encrypt certificates are integrated into Tecnocrática hosting, while commercial certificates are available for customers requiring portable certificates that can also be installed with another provider.

VPN services use WireGuard and provide Madrid-based IPv4 and IPv6 connectivity. Personal packages are differentiated mainly by connection speed, while the business VPN includes a dedicated VPN server and fixed dedicated IP addresses.

System Administration can be contracted for Linux and Windows servers hosted either at Tecnocrática or with another infrastructure provider. Basic administration focuses on server availability, while delegated administration includes operating-system maintenance, monitoring, backups, security work, and ongoing technical management.

One-time administration is also available for migrations, compromised servers, email failures, configuration problems, and other isolated technical tasks.

Tecnocrática is an official Proxmox partner in Spain. Its Proxmox services include architecture design, installation, licensing, support, training, VMware and Hyper-V migrations, Proxmox Backup Server, KVM and LXC virtualization, Ceph storage, high-availability clusters, and multi-data-center deployments.

Their own infrastructure makes extensive use of the Proxmox ecosystem, giving the technical team practical experience with production clusters, backup systems, distributed storage, virtualization, and recovery planning.

The professional-services division covers network design, BGP configuration, infrastructure management, technical audits, IP transit, DDoS protection, monitoring, remote hands, rack rental, server housing, and data center consulting.
