Techscape is one of Indonesia’s longest-running web hosting providers, with operations dating back to June 15, 1999. The business began with ValueHit, an early web statistics and traffic-analysis platform offering visitor tracking, website rankings and real-time online-user monitoring. ValueHit was acquired by Satunet.com, also known as Astaga.com, in October 1999.

Techscape entered the international hosting market in December 1999 using infrastructure in Maryland, United States. Its first customers came from the United States, Europe, Saudi Arabia and more than 25 other countries. Indonesian hosting services followed approximately three months later. Maysan was the owner during the company’s early expansion, while the current management information identifies M San as CEO.

The business now operates through PT TechScape Data Center, an Indonesian limited-liability company headquartered in North Jakarta. Its long operating history is particularly notable in a market where many hosting brands have disappeared, merged or changed ownership.

Techscape concentrates on Linux shared hosting, semi-dedicated shared hosting, domain registration, email hosting, SSL certificates, website migration, WHOIS privacy and one-click website applications. The standard catalog does not include VPS, Windows hosting, reseller hosting, dedicated servers or colocation.

The shared-hosting portfolio contains eight plans covering everything from a tiny static page to large multi-domain corporate accounts.

Cyberstand is an extremely small hosting package with only 1 MB of storage and 1 GB of monthly traffic. It includes FTP access and backups but no SSH. Its resources are sufficient only for a redirect, basic HTML page or very small informational website.

JumpStart includes 1.5 GB of storage, unlimited email accounts, cPanel, FTP, SSH upon request, one MySQL database, one additional domain, one subdomain, 3.5 GB of monthly traffic and migration assistance. This is the first practical option for a small conventional website.

Business provides 4 GB of storage, three MySQL databases, two additional domains, seven subdomains and 12.5 GB of monthly traffic. It also includes the website-template and application installer, together with a free .MY.ID domain during the first year.

Professional increases the allocation to 8 GB of storage, five databases, three additional domains, ten subdomains and 30 GB of monthly traffic. The plan also includes a mailing list, free SSL and a free domain when the required subscription term is selected.

Enterprise includes 35 GB of storage, 25 databases, five additional domains, 25 subdomains, five mailing lists and 60 GB of monthly traffic. It is suitable for companies maintaining several websites, databases and larger email operations under one account.

Developer provides 100 GB of storage, 45 databases, ten additional domains, 45 subdomains, ten mailing lists and 120 GB of monthly traffic. Several domain registrations are bundled with the plan.

Marketplace includes 325 GB of storage, 80 databases, 15 additional domains, 80 subdomains and 15 mailing lists. Monthly traffic is labeled as unlimited, although the service-level conditions apply a separate maximum bandwidth threshold to shared-hosting accounts.

Corporate is the largest package and is categorized as semi-dedicated hosting. It includes unlimited storage and traffic, 150 databases, 30 additional domains, unlimited subdomains, unlimited mailing lists, seven bundled domains, cPanel and the highest support priority. It remains governed by shared-hosting resource policies and does not provide the root access or complete resource isolation of a VPS or dedicated server.

Most packages include unlimited email accounts, webmail, forwarding, autoresponders, SpamAssassin, FTP access, DNS management, database tools and backup functions according to the limits of each plan. Email is included as part of the hosting account rather than offered as a separate Microsoft Exchange or enterprise collaboration service.

Business and larger packages include an automated installer with approximately 290 website templates and 330 PHP applications. Available software includes WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, WooCommerce, Magento, OpenCart, PrestaShop, osCommerce and various blog, forum, content-management and e-commerce platforms.

Domain services cover generic extensions, Indonesian domains and numerous geographic extensions. Customers can register new domains, transfer existing registrations, apply registrar locking, purchase WHOIS privacy and manage registrations through a separate Domain Manager. Several higher-tier hosting packages include free domain registrations, depending on the extension and subscription period.

Techscape primarily serves the Indonesian market. Prices are displayed in Indonesian rupiah — IDR, the infrastructure is based in Jakarta and the main website is written in Indonesian. Some forms and headings use English, but no complete multi-language or fully localized English version exists.

The website remains operational and continues to receive infrastructure and maintenance notices, including updates published during 2026. Its design, navigation and terminology are nevertheless rooted in an older generation of hosting websites. References to Mambo, phpNuke, CGI, Telnet and other legacy technologies remain mixed with current applications such as WordPress and WooCommerce. The layout is dense and less convenient on smaller screens than a modern responsive hosting storefront.

The acceptable-use rules prohibit pirated software, phishing, hacking, malware, gambling, adult material, unsolicited email, unauthorized hosting resale, abusive background processes and applications that consume excessive CPU, memory or bandwidth. Resource-intensive scripts can be restricted or suspended when they affect other accounts on the same server.

The general Terms of Use carry a December 5, 2002 revision date. The privacy policy covers account information, contact details, service records, server logs and cookies, although its structure is considerably less detailed than the privacy documentation used by many modern hosting providers.
