Sysbee is a Croatian managed cloud, infrastructure-management and DevOps specialist based in Pula. The Sysbee brand dates back to 2017, while System Bee d.o.o. was established in 2018 as a spin-off connected with the Croatian operations of the wider Plus Hosting organization. In May 2024, DHH (dhh.international) acquired the remaining minority interests in System Bee and took full control of the company. Another important corporate change followed on June 29, 2026, when System Bee d.o.o. merged into Plus Hosting Grupa (dhh.com.hr). Sysbee now operates as a brand of Plus Hosting Grupa d.o.o.

This background gives Sysbee more infrastructure experience than the age of the standalone brand might initially suggest. A substantial part of its technical expertise originated within the earlier Plus Hosting operation, where server administration, hosting infrastructure and managed systems had already been developed over many years. Zvonimir Gembec led Sysbee as CEO during its independent growth period, while the present legal entity is Plus Hosting Grupa d.o.o., represented by board member Veljko Drakulić.

Sysbee is primarily a managed infrastructure and DevOps provider rather than a traditional low-cost shared hosting company. Its main services include Managed Cloud Servers, Magento Optimized Cloud, WordPress Optimized Cloud, Managed Kubernetes, Explorer Monitoring, managed AWS infrastructure, infrastructure assessment, infrastructure design and broader managed infrastructure services.

Managed Cloud Servers are divided between Cloud Server Lite and Cloud Server Pro. Lite plans use shared general-purpose computing resources, while Pro configurations use dedicated CPU resources for workloads requiring more predictable performance. Standard configurations scale from smaller 2-core servers to much larger systems with up to 48 CPU cores, 192 GB RAM and 960 GB storage.

The managed layer is a major part of the service. Operating-system administration, regular maintenance, backups, security work, troubleshooting and proactive monitoring are incorporated into the infrastructure service instead of leaving customers responsible for daily system administration.

Security includes volumetric DDoS mitigation at network level, protection against common HTTP-layer attacks, strict firewall policies and Linux kernel live patching. Backup infrastructure uses Bareos and includes 14 daily plus eight bi-weekly restore points, giving access to recovery points reaching roughly two months into the past. Backup traffic and stored copies are encrypted, with copies distributed between multiple European regions. Free SSL certificates are also included with managed cloud servers.

Magento Optimized Cloud is based on dedicated CPU infrastructure and is designed for e-commerce workloads requiring stable processing, memory and storage resources. Configurations start with 2 CPU cores and 8 GB RAM and scale to large 48-core systems with 192 GB RAM. Management, monitoring, backups, security and DDoS mitigation are part of the environment.

WordPress Optimized Cloud follows the same managed-cloud model but adds a WordPress-focused software stack. The environment uses a LAMP architecture together with Varnish and Redis caching, SSL support, server optimization and security tuning. It is therefore much closer to a dedicated managed WordPress environment than to conventional shared WordPress hosting.

The DevOps Suite extends the portfolio into containerized applications and infrastructure automation. Managed Kubernetes is available with shared or dedicated CPU nodes. Each cluster includes a master node, load balancer and 24/7 proactive monitoring, while high-availability control-plane configurations and dedicated Grafana monitoring can also be added. Sysbee handles deployment, configuration, upgrades, security maintenance, monitoring and the infrastructure-level operational work surrounding Kubernetes.

Explorer Monitoring provides a separate observability platform that can also monitor infrastructure hosted outside Sysbee. It combines server and application metrics, centralized logs, tracing, dashboards and alerting using technologies from the Grafana and Prometheus ecosystem. Plans cover environments ranging from a few servers to several dozen systems, with retention periods depending on the selected package. Monitoring information remains inside the EU.

For companies that already operate their own servers or cloud infrastructure, Infrastructure Assessment provides a detailed technical evaluation of operating-system configuration, services, databases, security, firewall rules, SSL certificates, backup strategy, DNS, capacity, hardware utilization and possible cost optimization. A standard assessment normally requires approximately one week.

Infrastructure Design covers the planning of new bare-metal, cloud and hybrid environments. It can be used independently of implementation, making it suitable for organizations wanting an external architecture plan before deciding how and where to deploy the resulting environment.

The broader Managed Infrastructure service covers initial setup, configuration, proactive monitoring, operating-system and software lifecycle management, troubleshooting, backups and disaster-recovery planning. It can be applied to Sysbee infrastructure, customer-owned hardware, hybrid environments and third-party cloud platforms.

Managed AWS extends the same model to AWS, including architecture, infrastructure management, CloudWatch-related monitoring, scaling and cost optimization. Rackspace environments can also be incorporated into managed infrastructure projects.

The legal framework still contains provisions dealing with shared hosting and domain registration, although Sysbee's primary 2026 business is concentrated on managed cloud, VPS-style infrastructure, DevOps, Kubernetes and infrastructure management rather than entry-level shared hosting.
