Swishmail is a New York-based business email hosting and Internet services provider operated by Websak, LLC. The Swishmail brand has been in commercial use since 2000, giving the company more than two decades of experience in hosted email services. Public corporate information associates Christoph von Mach with Websak, LLC as president and a principal of the business. Operations are based in Bayside, New York.

Email hosting remains the core service. The portfolio covers Business Email Hosting, Email Archiving, Premium Spam Filtering, Domain Registration and Dedicated Servers, complemented by professional technology services such as Web Development, Web Design, App Development, Website Maintenance, SEO, Technology Consulting, Product Owner services, Branding, Corporate Identity and Business Strategy. This gives Swishmail a broader profile than a basic mailbox provider, especially for small and medium-sized companies that may need technical assistance alongside their email infrastructure.

The email hosting range is divided into Professional, Enterprise and Platinum plans. Professional packages support 5, 10, 25 or 50 configurable mailboxes, with 10 GB of total storage and monthly transfer allowances between 50 GB and 100 GB. Enterprise plans extend the service to 100-500 mailboxes, 15 GB of total storage and 125-250 GB of monthly transfer. Platinum configurations support 700, 850 or as many as 1,000 mailboxes, with 20 GB of total storage and up to 500 GB of monthly transfer.

Storage is allocated at account level rather than separately to every mailbox. This is important for larger organizations because hundreds of available mailboxes do not mean hundreds of individual 10 GB or 20 GB quotas. Additional storage can be purchased when necessary.

All email plans support addresses at the customer's own domain, secure webmail, SMTP relay, IMAP and POP access, anti-virus protection and configurable spam filtering. Personal whitelist and blacklist controls are available, while SpamAssassin filtering can be adjusted individually for mailboxes. Customers requiring stronger filtering can add the Premium Spam Firewall.

Email Archiving is available separately for organizations requiring independent retention of business correspondence. Archived mail remains searchable and can help with compliance, recovery and electronic discovery requirements.

Standard IMAP, POP and SMTP connectivity makes Swishmail compatible with conventional desktop and mobile email applications including Microsoft Outlook, Mozilla Thunderbird, Apple Mail and smartphone mail clients. SSL/TLS encryption is supported for secure connections. IMAP is particularly useful for customers using several devices because messages and folders remain synchronized on the server.

The browser-based email environment includes calendars, address books, memos and tasks. Webmail supports 44 languages, making the mail interface practical for international teams even though the main company service environment is primarily aimed at English-speaking customers.

Migration assistance is one of the more useful parts of the Swishmail service. Existing mailboxes, aliases, forwards and distribution lists can be recreated, while messages, folders and contacts can be transferred to the new environment. Migration is supported from services such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, cPanel-based hosting and other IMAP-compatible platforms. MX records can then be changed once migration is ready, allowing the existing website to remain with another hosting company if only email is being transferred.

Domain registration is available for customers that need a new domain, while existing domains can simply be configured to use Swishmail mail servers. Domain aliases are also supported, allowing several domains to deliver mail into the same account structure.

Traditional Shared Web Hosting also forms part of Swishmail's long-running hosting history. Its older hosting platform includes multiple shared-hosting tiers with PHP, MySQL, CGI, FTP, SSL, raw log access and integrated email hosting. Historical plans ranged from relatively small website packages to considerably larger configurations. These services now have a secondary role compared with the company's stronger focus on hosted email, custom development and technical consulting.

Dedicated Servers are available on a quotation basis rather than through a standardized low-cost server catalog. SSD-based server hardware is part of the infrastructure, and dedicated-server requests can be handled directly through the sales team.

Swishmail also works with businesses requiring custom websites and applications. Services can include site architecture, competitor research, flowcharts, wireframes, UX/UI design, responsive layouts and application development. Product Owner services extend into market research, business strategy, presentation development, Business Requirement Documents and technical documentation.
