Sweden Dedicated is a Swedish infrastructure-focused hosting provider with roots going back to 2006. The company started from an earlier Dutch hosting and game-server business, then changed its name to Sweden Dedicated in 2009 and moved operations to Stockholm. Its background is closely tied to physical infrastructure, dedicated hosting, and network services rather than ordinary mass-market shared hosting. Over time, they expanded into several Stockholm-area facilities, including Pionen, Kista Gate, and Solna, while also building their own cloud platform, transit capacity, and peering services.

This is not a typical shared hosting company. Sweden Dedicated is better understood as a server, VPS, colocation, and network services provider. Their service range covers NVMe SSD VPS, dedicated servers, budget / second-life dedicated servers, colocation, IPv4 / IPv6 subnet leasing, ASN services, IP transit, point-to-point connectivity, BGP routing, and other infrastructure-related solutions. Free anti-DDoS filtering is included on the main dedicated server range, with filtering up to 20 Gbps for four hours among the dedicated-server features.

The Second Life / Budget Dedicated Servers line is useful for customers who want lower-cost physical hardware instead of the newest server generation. These older machines remain connected to the same backbone and fit lighter workloads, test environments, private services, backup systems, or projects where dedicated hardware matters more than modern CPU performance.

The Colocation service is one of the company’s strongest areas. Customers can place their own equipment in Sweden Dedicated’s carrier-neutral Stockholm-area data centers, from 1U and 2U options up to 42U full racks. Colocation includes 1 Gbit connectivity, IPv4 / IPv6 options, traffic monitoring, optional A+B feed, remote hands, optional 10 Gbit uplink, MPLS between data centers, and BGP routing / ASN announcement. Colocation can also be discussed for other cities such as Malmö, Gothenburg, and Oslo, although the company’s main infrastructure profile remains centered around Stockholm.
