Studio4web is a Croatian web hosting provider founded on February 1, 2006 by Miron Jajtić. The company developed around affordable hosting for Croatian individuals, developers and small businesses, with local technical support playing an important role from the beginning. By its tenth anniversary in 2016, Studio4web had hosted more than 10,000 different websites, while its current service information refers to more than 5,000 customers.

A significant ownership change took place in March 2017, when the Studio4web hosting business was acquired for HRK 2.1 million, approximately €280,000 at the time. Miron Jajtić had been the sole owner before the transaction. Studio4web is now operated by Plus Hosting Grupa d.o.o., which is controlled by DHH (dhh.international). DHH's 2024 sustainability information lists 24 employees for Plus Hosting Grupa, while Studio4web itself remains a relatively compact hosting brand within the wider group.

The current service portfolio is centered on Shared SSD Hosting, VPS, Reseller Hosting and domain registration, together with SSL certificates, additional hosting resources, server administration and cPanel-related options. Dedicated servers continue to appear in some contractual and reseller documentation, but the main commercial focus is now clearly on shared hosting, VPS and reseller services rather than a broad dedicated-server catalog.

Shared SSD Hosting is available through five main packages. Dwarf starts with 1 GB SSD storage and 50 GB traffic, Nova increases this to 3 GB and 200 GB, Lodestar includes 5 GB and 500 GB, Pulsar provides 15 GB, while Supernova offers 25 GB SSD storage with nominally unlimited traffic. Depending on the package, customers receive email accounts, MySQL databases, domains and subdomains, SSH access, SSL, FTP, antispam protection and free migration.

Resource allocation is relatively transparent. CPU, process, I/O and inode limitations are defined at account level rather than hidden behind a generic unlimited-resource policy. Monthly transfer remains subject to an underlying 1 TB threshold, which can be increased to 1.5 TB on request without an extra fee, while usage beyond that level can be billed separately.

The shared hosting environment uses cPanel, CloudLinux and Softaculous. CloudLinux isolates customer accounts and controls resource consumption, while Softaculous simplifies installation of common web applications. Daily server-side backups are part of the hosting environment, although customers are still responsible for maintaining independent copies of important websites and databases.

VPS Hosting is SSD-based and primarily intended for customers comfortable with unmanaged server administration. VPS 11 starts with 20 GB SSD, 2 GB RAM, 1 vCore and 20 TB monthly traffic. VPS 21 increases resources to 40 GB SSD, 4 GB RAM and 2 vCores, VPS 31 provides 80 GB and 8 GB RAM, while VPS 41 reaches 160 GB SSD, 16 GB RAM and 4 vCores. Additional configurations have also been available up to 240 GB SSD and 32 GB RAM. One IP address is included with the displayed VPS packages.

Smaller VPS configurations are primarily self-managed, while larger servers can use Studio4web administration as an optional service. Managed systems can include MySQL or MariaDB, mail services, CSF firewall configuration and migration assistance. A combined cPanel + CloudLinux + Imunify360 package is also available. Customers choosing Studio4web management do not receive root access, which is normal for a fully managed configuration where the provider remains responsible for system administration.

Reseller Hosting is aimed at agencies, developers and small hosting businesses wanting to sell hosting under their own brand. Sirius provides 15 GB storage, 1.5 TB traffic and up to 10 cPanel accounts. Mizar includes 25 GB, 2.5 TB and 20 accounts, while Kastor reaches 35 GB, 3.5 TB and 30 accounts. SSD RAID storage, SSL, private DNS capability, antispam protection and technical support are included.

Resellers manage customer hosting accounts through WHM, with each cPanel license corresponding to a separate hosting account. Studio4web provides infrastructure and reseller-level support, while each reseller remains responsible for technical assistance to their own end users.

Domain registration covers a broad selection of generic and country extensions including .com, .net, .org, .biz, .info, .hr, .com.hr, .eu, .de, .es, .co.uk, .io, .cloud, .blog and .xyz. Croatian .hr and .com.hr domains receive additional local handling, and completed .hr transfers include a one-year renewal.

Studio4web remains strongly focused on the Croatian market. The storefront, help content, legal documentation and ordering process are primarily in Croatian. No multilingual/localized version exists. Prices are displayed in EUR, although several sections still retain the historical fixed EUR/HRK conversion rate of 7.53450. Some older content also remains mixed with current information, particularly around refund periods, addresses and copyright dates.
