SpeedHub is a Romanian web hosting and infrastructure provider active since 2013, with its main office in Bucharest and services designed for both Romanian and international customers. The present operating company, Speedhub Solutions SRL, was incorporated on March 22, 2017, with VAT number RO37256459 and EUID ROONRC.J40/3836/2017. The company operates with a small team of approximately 2–10 employees. Its website is available in English, while hosting and related services are primarily priced in EUR.

The service portfolio covers Shared Web Hosting, Domain Registration and Transfer, Linux VPS, Windows VPS, Secure VPN and SSL Certificates. The strongest focus is on affordable shared hosting and unmanaged virtual servers, complemented by domain and security-related services.

Shared hosting is divided between cPanel WEB plans and DirectAdmin DIA plans. Both families use NVMe storage and Romanian infrastructure. cPanel packages include CloudLinux, LiteSpeed with LSCache, daily JetBackup backups, Imunify360, free Let's Encrypt SSL, Softaculous, selectable PHP versions, Git support, WordPress optimization and SiteJet AI Website Builder. DirectAdmin packages use a similar environment with CloudLinux, LiteSpeed, cPGuard, daily Acronis backups, Softaculous, SitePad, Node.js and Python support, free SSL and selectable PHP versions. Email hosting is included directly with the shared hosting accounts.

The entry-level cPanel WEB S plan includes 1 GB NVMe storage, 25 GB monthly traffic, two hosted domains, two MySQL databases and five email addresses. Larger WEB plans increase storage to 10 GB and monthly traffic to as much as 1 TB. DirectAdmin plans provide larger quotas, starting with 5 GB NVMe and 100 GB traffic on DIA S and reaching 20 GB NVMe, 4 TB monthly traffic and support for up to 60 hosted domains on DIA XL. Shared hosting includes daily backups and automatic activation.

Resource limits are relatively strict on shared hosting. Long-lasting usage is subject to limits around 5% CPU, 200 MB RAM and 20 concurrent connections. This makes the inexpensive plans suitable for normal websites, smaller WordPress installations and email workloads, while resource-intensive applications may require a VPS sooner than the disk or monthly traffic quotas suggest.

The VPS portfolio is substantially broader. Linux customers can choose OpenVZ or KVM, while Windows VPS uses KVM virtualization. Linux configurations range from small systems with 1 vCPU and 2 GB RAM to larger plans with 16 vCPU and 64 GB RAM. KVM provides stronger workload isolation and supports distributions including AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux, Debian and Ubuntu. Windows VPS supports Windows Server 2019, 2022 and 2025, with the Windows Server Standard license included in the monthly price.

All VPS services are unmanaged. They include IPv4 and IPv6 connectivity, a 100 Mbps network port and monthly data-transfer allowances that grow with the selected plan. A 1 Gbps network upgrade and additional IPv4 addresses are available as paid options. VPS storage is SSD-based and limited to approximately 300 IOPS. When the monthly traffic allowance is exceeded, connectivity remains active but the port speed is reduced to 10% until the next monthly reset. Outbound TCP port 25 is disabled by default as an anti-abuse measure, while inbound SMTP remains available.

VPS management includes operating-system reinstallation, root-password reset, hostname management, reverse DNS/PTR configuration, upgrades and cancellation controls. VPS plans cannot be downgraded because reducing the virtual disk could damage the filesystem.

Domain services include registrations, renewals and transfers for popular European and international extensions such as .EU, .COM, .RO, .DE, .FR, .UK, .NET, .ORG and .BIZ, together with numerous newer TLDs. Eligible incoming transfers normally extend the domain registration by one year. Private WHOIS protection is not available.

The Secure VPN service provides more than 70 server locations across 40 countries, supports OpenVPN and WireGuard, and permits up to five simultaneous devices. It supports Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iOS. VPN traffic operates under a zero-traffic-log policy, and an optional advertisement-blocking profile is available when OpenVPN is used. A short paid trial is available before purchasing a longer subscription.

SSL products cover DV, EV, multi-domain and wildcard certificates from established certificate authorities including Sectigo, GoGetSSL and RapidSSL. Shared hosting customers can instead use free Let's Encrypt certificates, while the commercial SSL range is better suited to customers requiring wildcard coverage, organization or extended validation, multi-domain SAN certificates or commercial certificate warranties.
