📄 Editorial Review
SpectraIP is a Dutch hosting and network-infrastructure provider based in Wormer, close to Amsterdam. Its service history dates back to 2013, while SpectraIP B.V. has operated as the current legal entity since 2017. The company follows a technically focused approach, combining traditional hosting products with high-bandwidth servers, IP connectivity, colocation and network services. Its portfolio includes shared web hosting, managed WordPress hosting, KVM cloud VPS, bare-metal servers, streaming servers, dedicated cloud environments, colocation, IP transit, BGP connectivity, remote hands, domain registration, reseller services and managed hosting. This makes SpectraIP suitable not only for ordinary websites, but also for developers, hosting resellers, streaming platforms and businesses that need more control over their infrastructure.
Shared hosting is the simplest and least expensive entry point. The platform uses LiteSpeed, DirectAdmin, SSD or NVMe storage, free Let’s Encrypt SSL certificates, selectable PHP versions, automated backups and one-click application installation. Even the smallest package supports multiple domains, while each plan has clearly allocated processor, memory, storage, traffic, email and inode resources.
The entry shared-hosting package includes 5 GB of storage, 100 GB of monthly traffic, support for ten domains, 1 GB of memory and one processor core. Larger packages reach 80 GB of storage, 1 TB of traffic, 8 GB of memory, three processor cores and support for as many as 100 domains. These plans are practical for personal sites, small business websites and customers who manage several lightweight domains from one account.
Managed WordPress hosting runs in an isolated private VPS environment rather than on a conventional shared-hosting account. It includes WordPress installation, automated updates, staging, SSL certificates, daily backups, server-level caching, Redis, Varnish, PageSpeed optimization, malware scanning, firewall protection and basic DDoS mitigation.
The managed WordPress range starts with 20 GB of storage, 2 GB of memory and one processor core, then scales to 120 GB of storage, 8 GB of memory and four processor cores. WooCommerce is supported, making the higher packages suitable for business websites and moderately active online stores. Optional email hosting includes ten mailboxes and 5 GB of storage for one domain.
The cloud VPS platform uses KVM virtualization, enterprise NVMe storage configured in RAID-10 and AMD EPYC or Intel Xeon processors. Each VPS includes full root access, one IPv4 address, an IPv6 /64 allocation, VNC console access, SSH-key management, operating-system reinstallation and real-time resource statistics.
Optional services include automated backups, additional snapshots, firewall management and block storage. Available operating systems include Ubuntu, Debian, AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux, Fedora, openSUSE, CentOS and FreeBSD, along with Docker-oriented installations. VPS configurations range from compact 2 GB instances to systems with 32 GB of memory, ten processor cores, 480 GB of NVMe storage and 40 TB of monthly traffic.
Dedicated servers cover both economical systems and modern Ryzen, Xeon and EPYC platforms. Entry configurations are suitable for development environments, basic hosting and private applications, while the larger systems provide considerably more memory, NVMe capacity and network throughput.
Dedicated servers are unmanaged by default. Customers receive full administrative access, IPv4 and IPv6 connectivity, reverse-DNS management, monitoring, remote reboot and operating-system reinstallation through the server-management interface. Custom hardware configurations and reseller arrangements are also available.
The streaming-server range is one of SpectraIP’s strongest products. A standard streaming configuration uses dual Intel Xeon Gold 6240 processors, 64 GB of ECC memory and 960 GB of NVMe storage. Connectivity is available with 2 Gbps, 5 Gbps or 10 Gbps unmetered ports, making these servers suitable for video delivery, media platforms, download services and other sustained high-traffic workloads.
Customers can announce their own IP space without an additional monthly BYOIP fee. Large SATA disks can also be added for video libraries, backups and archival storage. This combination of unmetered connectivity, optional high-capacity disks and BGP support is particularly valuable for bandwidth-intensive operations.
Colocation is available in carrier-neutral facilities around Amsterdam. Options extend from individual rack units to quarter, half and full cabinets, as well as larger multi-rack deployments. Customers can order 1 Gbps through 40 Gbps uplinks, IP transit, BGP sessions, switch rental, remote hands and transport connectivity toward Amsterdam Science Park.
Dedicated cloud and private-server environments are available for organizations that need reserved processor, memory and storage resources. These environments combine dedicated compute capacity with enterprise NVMe storage and are prepared according to the customer’s technical requirements.
Domain registration and transfers can be managed through the customer portal. Reseller hosting and dedicated-server reseller services are also available, allowing hosting businesses and IT providers to incorporate SpectraIP infrastructure into their own service portfolios.
The main website supports English and Dutch. The ordering portal is available in Arabic, Azerbaijani, Catalan, Chinese, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Estonian, Persian, French, German, Hebrew, Hungarian, Italian, Macedonian, Norwegian, Brazilian Portuguese, European Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish and Ukrainian. Products are priced in euros.
