📄 Editorial Review

SPDNet is a Turkish hosting, server, and network infrastructure provider founded in 2014 and headquartered in Bayraklı, İzmir. The legal company is SPDNET Telekomünikasyon Hizmetleri Bilgi Teknolojileri Taahhüt Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., registered with the İzmir / Karşıyaka Tax Office under tax number 7810523765 and trade registry number 15542.

The company started during the last quarter of 2014 after its team had already gained experience in hosting and infrastructure services. Its current range extends well beyond basic web hosting and includes domain registration and transfers, Linux hosting, Windows hosting, reseller hosting, VPS, dedicated servers, colocation, IPv4 subnet rental, IP announcement, ASN rental, SSL-related services, software licensing, and web design.

Shared hosting is available with DirectAdmin, cPanel, and Plesk, giving customers considerably more panel choice than many small hosting providers. Linux accounts combine CloudLinux, LiteSpeed, free SSL, automated activation, application installers, anti-spam protection, and PHP Selector. Supported packages also include development features such as multiple PHP versions, Node.js, Python, CageFS, ModSecurity, and Imunify360.

The entry-level DirectAdmin hosting package includes one website, 2 GB storage, 25 GB monthly traffic, 1 GB RAM, one vCore, and a 200,000-inode allowance. Higher packages increase storage, websites, databases, email capacity, CPU, RAM, and traffic limits, with larger plans suitable for customers hosting multiple websites.

Plesk is available for both Linux and Windows hosting. Linux Plesk accounts use the CloudLinux and LiteSpeed environment, while Windows packages provide ASP.NET hosting for Microsoft-based applications. This makes SPDNet suitable for customers who need either conventional PHP/MySQL hosting or Windows-compatible web applications without administering a complete virtual server.

Reseller customers can choose DirectAdmin Reseller Hosting or cPanel Reseller Hosting. DirectAdmin reseller packages start with support for 10 websites, unlimited disk space and traffic, 2 GB RAM, two vCores, CloudLinux, and LiteSpeed. Larger plans increase account and database capacity. cPanel reseller packages provide a comparable environment with WHM for creating and managing individual customer hosting accounts.

The virtual server platform is branded SPD Cloud and uses VMware ESXi virtualization. VPS resources run on Intel Xeon Platinum-based infrastructure with DDR4 memory and enterprise storage. Entry configurations start with one vCore, 1 GB RAM, 20 GB storage, 1 TB monthly traffic, and one IPv4 address, while larger plans reach substantially higher CPU, RAM, storage, and bandwidth allocations. Linux and Windows operating systems are available, and additional memory, disk space, traffic, network capacity, and IPv4 resources can be added when needed.

Dedicated servers are another important part of the portfolio. Configurations include Intel Xeon-based systems with SSD storage and large monthly traffic allocations. Physical server preparation can require up to 48 hours, with the selected operating system installed during deployment.

Colocation hosting is available in İzmir for both tower/OEM and rackmount servers. Network connections can be provided at 100 or 1000 Mbit/s with shared or dedicated capacity. IP allocations range from individual addresses to larger subnets, while KVM access and operating-system installation are available for colocated systems. Requested control panels can also be installed on physical servers.

SPDNet also provides network-oriented services that are uncommon among conventional shared hosting companies. Customers can rent IPv4 subnets ranging from /29 through /24, use IP subnet announcement services, and obtain ASN-related services. SPDNet operates AS57844 under the AS-SPDNET routing set and works with both IPv4 and IPv6 infrastructure.

The customer interface supports Turkish, English, and Russian, making the service accessible to customers outside Turkey as well. Some sections remain more complete in Turkish, but an English-language version exists. Pricing is commonly available in Turkish lira and US dollars, and the billing system supports currency selection.

One detail worth noting is that some older contractual information has not been updated as consistently as the current company information. The active corporate address is in Folkart Towers, İzmir, while an older service-agreement document still contains a previous Manisa address and an outdated VAT percentage. Customers should therefore use the company, tax, and payment information generated during the current ordering and invoicing process.
