The legal business, SmartHost Web Services Limited, was incorporated in Ireland on October 12, 2020, under company number 679347.

The company expanded its web development and maintenance capabilities in May 2022 by acquiring the web services division of AGENT Digital. This brought hosting, website development, maintenance and agency support into a more complete service portfolio. Customers can combine domain registration, hosting, professional email, WordPress development, website maintenance and technical support with one Irish provider.

SmartHost is an accredited .IE domain registrar, a cPanel Certified Partner and a member of Guaranteed Irish. Its information-security management system is certified to ISO/IEC 27001:2022, adding a formal security framework around internal processes, access controls and customer-data management.

The main Shared Hosting range is designed for individuals, small businesses and agencies that want cPanel hosting without managing the underlying server. The Complete plan starts from €4.12 per month with annual billing and includes 30 GB of storage, support for five additional domains, 1 GB of memory, unmetered bandwidth, unlimited email accounts, free SSL certificates, daily off-site backups and self-service restoration.

A 24-hour demonstration can be generated before ordering Web60. The service has its own 14-day refund period and gives customers access to the normal WordPress administration area after the website has been created.
