SL Hosting is an Italian web hosting brand with roots connected to Servizi Internet, an Italian Internet services company active since 1996 in hosting, domains, email, housing, virtualization and related infrastructure services. SL Hosting became part of Servizi Internet S.r.l. in December 2018, its server infrastructure was migrated to the Planetel network during 2019, and Servizi Internet was merged into Planetel S.p.A. in October 2021. SL Hosting therefore operates today within the Planetel organization.

The service portfolio covers Linux Shared Hosting, Semi-Dedicated Hosting, Multidomain Hosting, Reseller Hosting, Managed Dedicated Servers, Domain Registration and SSL Certificates. The range is centered mainly on conventional Linux hosting, combining inexpensive entry-level packages with more resource-intensive professional hosting and fully managed physical servers.

The standard Shared Hosting packages run on Linux with DirectAdmin. SL-MICRO includes 500 MB of disk space, 10 GB of monthly traffic, one hosted domain, one MySQL database and three email accounts. SL-STANDARD increases storage to 5 GB and includes unlimited traffic, databases, email accounts, FTP accounts and subdomains, while SL-ADVANCED provides 10 GB of storage with a similar resource structure. The hosting environment includes PHP, phpMyAdmin, Roundcube webmail, POP/IMAP/SMTP email, antivirus and antispam filtering, website statistics, Cron jobs, SSL support and Installatron for installing more than 100 CMS and web applications. Eligible annual hosting packages can also include domain registration or transfer.

SL-PRO Semi-Dedicated Hosting provides more resources and greater account isolation for business websites, online stores and heavier applications. These servers are limited to a maximum of 100 hosted websites and use SSD storage. Packages start with 20 GB and one domain, followed by larger configurations with 30 GB or 50 GB and support for additional domains. Traffic, databases, email accounts, FTP accounts and subdomains are effectively unrestricted within the applicable service conditions. DirectAdmin, SSL support, Installatron and priority technical assistance are included.

The Reseller Hosting platform is designed for agencies, developers and customers who want to create separate hosting accounts for their own clients. DirectAdmin provides reseller-level administration and account creation. Entry plans include 20 GB of storage and support for up to 30 domains, while larger packages increase storage to 50 GB or 100 GB and remove the fixed domain-count limitation.

Multidomain Hosting uses the same Linux and DirectAdmin environment but is better suited to customers managing several independent websites from one hosting package without requiring full reseller functionality.

Managed Dedicated Servers provide physical server resources together with Linux system administration. The managed service covers installation and configuration of the operating environment, web server and control panel, periodic operating-system and panel updates, basic security hardening and administration of the supplied software stack. Hardware configurations include Intel Core i3 and i5 processors, Xeon E3 systems and dual-Xeon E5 servers, with SSD or SATA storage and configurations reaching 64 GB of RAM. Customers can use either DirectAdmin or cPanel.

Domain services cover a broad selection of Italian and international extensions, including .it, .com, .net, .org, .eu, .biz, .info and .co.uk. Commercial SSL Certificates include standard domain-validation products, wildcard certificates and EV certificates, while hosting plans also support free SSL certificates.

The company primarily serves the Italian market, and the main website is in Italian. The customer area includes a much broader selection of localized interfaces, including English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Dutch, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Czech, Hungarian, Croatian, Macedonian, Turkish, Ukrainian, Arabic, Hebrew, Persian, Azerbaijani, Catalan, Chinese and Estonian.
