SkyHosting is a Serbian web-hosting, domain-registration and IT-services provider established in 2014. The hosting brand operates through Skyneting d.o.o., a privately owned company incorporated in Niš on June 22, 2016. Branko Milenković is the co-founder, chief executive officer and managing director, while the ownership is shared with Milan Petrović and Ranko Aksić. The business operates with a compact team and combines web hosting with server administration, network maintenance, VPN implementation, hotspot systems, structural cabling, IT consulting and website development.

The hosting portfolio covers Linux shared hosting, SSD VPS servers, Serbian and international domains, SSL certificates, cPanel licenses, incoming email filtering, website backups, website-building tools and technical administration. Dedicated hosting is included in the service conditions and parts of the knowledge base, although standard dedicated-server configurations are not available through the regular product catalog. Customers interested in this service need an individual quotation.

Shared hosting uses SSD storage and cPanel. Hosting Start includes 1 GB of storage, 100 GB of monthly traffic, one website, one MySQL database, 20 email accounts, five FTP accounts, five parked domains and five subdomains. Hosting Advanced increases the allocation to 3 GB of storage and 300 GB of traffic, with support for three websites, three databases, ten FTP accounts and unlimited email accounts. Hosting Pro provides 10 GB of storage, 1 TB of traffic, ten websites, ten databases and unlimited email, FTP, parked-domain and subdomain capacity.

Every shared-hosting package includes free SSL certificates, free website migration, SSD storage and the SiteJet website builder. Email functions cover POP3 and IMAP over encrypted connections, webmail, redirects, filtering and spam protection. A seven-day free trial is available after contacting the support team, giving customers a practical opportunity to test performance and account management before purchasing an annual subscription.

The storage limits are relatively modest, especially on the Start and Advanced packages. These plans work best for company websites, personal projects, portfolios, landing pages and smaller WordPress installations. Websites with large media libraries, extensive ecommerce catalogs or heavy file-storage requirements may outgrow them quickly.

VPS hosting uses OpenVZ virtualization and SolusVM management. The available configurations provide between one and four virtual CPU cores, 2 GB to 8 GB of RAM, 10 GB to 40 GB of SSD storage, 1 TB to 4 TB of monthly traffic and a 500 Mbps network connection. Each VPS includes one IP address, root access through SSH and controls for starting, stopping, rebooting and reinstalling the operating system.

The VPS plans are mainly unmanaged. A temporary management offer may cover an initial service period, but long-term administration remains the customer’s responsibility unless an additional management package is purchased. Optional services include security configuration, software installation, monthly server maintenance, additional backup storage and a WHM/cPanel license.

OpenVZ is suitable for lightweight Linux services, development environments, small web-hosting accounts and applications that do not need a custom kernel. Customers requiring stronger resource isolation, advanced kernel control or a modern KVM environment should consider these technical limitations before ordering.

SkyHosting is an authorized registrar for Serbian national domains. The available extensions include .rs, .co.rs, .org.rs, .edu.rs, .in.rs and Serbian Cyrillic domains, together with international extensions such as .com, .net, .org, .de, .at, .ch, .io and .me. Transfers of .RS domains are free and do not change the existing expiration date. Registrant changes are also available for .RS and .СРБ domains.

International domain registrations are processed through Enom. The customer panel supports domain searches, registrations, transfers, renewals, nameserver changes, DNSSEC configuration and DNS-zone administration through SkyDNS Manager.

Paid SSL products include RapidSSL, GeoTrust and certificates still carrying the older Comodo branding. The selection covers single-domain validation, wildcard protection, business validation, extended validation and personal email authentication. Shared-hosting customers normally do not need a separate certificate because free domain SSL is already included with the hosting packages.

A standalone Weebly catalog remains available with Free, Starter, Pro and Business packages. The plans range from a basic page builder with SEO tools and contact forms to ecommerce, membership and multimedia functions. Technical support for this builder is limited, while SiteJet is now included directly with the shared-hosting packages and represents the more integrated option.

The incoming email-filtering service scans messages before they reach the customer’s mail server. It blocks spam, viruses and malware, provides quarantine management and temporarily stores messages when the destination server is unavailable.

Website backup is available through CodeGuard. The service includes daily automated backups, file and database restoration, malware monitoring, file-change notifications, WordPress update protection and restoration staging. Backup data is encrypted with AES-256 and stored through Amazon Web Services infrastructure.

The main website is available in Serbian and English. The customer portal supports Arabic, Azerbaijani, Catalan, Chinese, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Estonian, Persian, French, German, Hebrew, Hungarian, Italian, Macedonian, Norwegian, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Spanish, Serbian, Swedish, Turkish and Ukrainian.

Some commercial descriptions remain partly mixed between Serbian and English, and a few catalog sections retain older terminology. Prices can be viewed in EUR, Serbian dinars and US dollars.

The website works on desktop and mobile devices, although its visual presentation is dated compared with newer hosting stores. Older SSL terminology, the separate Weebly catalog and differences between several product sections also make the ordering process less consistent than it should be.
