They bundle the editor, hosting, domain connection, security, updates, and most day-to-day site management into one platform, which makes the service much closer to Wix, Jimdo, or other SaaS site builders than to a classic cPanel host. For many small businesses, associations, freelancers, artists, and first-time site owners, that simplification is exactly the point.

The company was created by Cédric Hamel and Fabien Versange. The project started in 2007, and the first version went live in 2008/2009. Today the business is based in Aurillac, France, under SAS SiteW.com. The service stays very French in identity, but it is not limited to France: the public platform is clearly localized in French, English, and Spanish, and the storefront adapts pricing by country and currency.

Their main product is the website builder itself. The showcase website side starts with a free Starter plan and continues through Essential Showcase, Advanced Showcase, and Unlimited Showcase.
