Shinjiru is one of Malaysia’s longest-established web hosting and internet infrastructure companies. The business began in 1998, when Terence Choong, Jeffrey Khow, and Shaun Lim Shan Her started the operation with approximately RM5,000 in initial capital. The present Shinjiru Technology Sdn Bhd legal entity was incorporated in 2003, while the hosting operation and brand history go back several years earlier.

The company developed from an early Malaysian hosting provider into a broad IT service organization covering domain registration, shared hosting, WordPress hosting, cloud servers, VPS, dedicated servers, colocation, business email, Microsoft cloud services, website development, cybersecurity, and backup services. Shinjiru is an ICANN-accredited registrar, a MYNIC partner, an APNIC member, and a Microsoft Tier-1 Cloud Solution Provider. Domain registration covers more than 300 extensions, including Malaysian domains such as .my, .com.my, .net.my, and .org.my, together with widely used international extensions.
