Internetworks began in 1996, while its dedicated hosting and data center activities developed under the Serveris name in 1999. The business started as a one-person operation from a garage and gained its first customer on September 21, 1996.

The company opened its first internal data center in Polanco, Mexico City, in 1999. Its infrastructure later expanded to Columbus, Ohio, in 2002, Atlanta in 2008 and Monterrey in 2015. Internetworks has served more than 14,100 customers and completed over 500 technology projects. The Serveris division has an estimated workforce of between 11 and 50 employees.
