The business was founded by Ramón Ernesto Navas and developed from a family technology venture into Servitepuy, C.A. The corporate structure also includes Tepuy WebHosting LLC in Florida, giving the company a business presence in both Venezuela and the United States. Ramón Alejandro Navas and Karina Navas have also been associated with the company's management.

The portfolio is considerably broader than basic shared hosting and includes shared hosting, reseller hosting, Cloud Hosting, WordPress hosting, Cloud VPS, Windows hosting, domain registration, email hosting, radio streaming, backup services and web design. This combination makes the company suitable for individuals and small businesses as well as agencies, resellers and customers requiring virtual servers or specialized hosting.

The shared-hosting family consists of Betta, Escalar and Caribe Pro.
