*📜 Plan description

Private racks give you a dedicated server rack of up to 55U in a Servers.com data center, designed for larger server fleets or highly specific hardware needs. Each rack in this configuration provides 55 units of usable space with power capacity up to 11 kW, delivered through automatic transfer switches and 24 socket PDUs to support high density deployments and redundant power feeds. Five dedicated leaf switches are included per rack, with two reserved for private networking, two for internet facing traffic and one for IPMI, so you can keep management traffic isolated from production workloads. Every leaf switch can be equipped with up to four 40 Gbps uplinks and up to 160 Gbps total bandwidth, giving your own equipment the same high performance connectivity as shared infrastructure nodes. Example pricing for a fully powered private rack is shown around 25 USD per month before taxes, with the calculator converting values into local currencies like EUR based on the selected location. Using the self service customer portal you can order or cancel racks, move dedicated servers between shared and private racks, and review power consumption and traffic statistics in real time without opening tickets. Because you install your own servers and network gear, you retain full control over hardware configuration while relying on the provider for space, power, cooling and network. This rack option suits use cases such as custom bare metal clusters, hyperconverged infrastructure or compliance driven workloads where you need physical separation from other tenants.

Across all private rack deployments, the platform is built on the same global infrastructure as other Servers.com services, with data centers in key locations across North America, Europe and Asia connected by a private backbone and multiple tier one carriers. Facilities are operated to Tier 3 and Tier 4 design principles with ISO certified information security management and strict physical access controls, so colocated hardware benefits from the same standards as managed bare metal and cloud servers. Network architecture is designed to minimise latency and prevent bottlenecks, pairing high capacity uplinks with free global private networking between your dedicated and cloud resources. Automation in the customer portal and API lets you integrate rack management with the rest of your infrastructure operations, including provisioning, traffic and power reporting, and coordination with additional services such as cloud servers or storage. Billing is aligned to a monthly cycle with clear separation between pre paid commitments like racks and usage based services such as bandwidth overage, and you can pay by credit card, PayPal or wire transfer while seeing charges in your chosen account currency. Service availability is backed by a 99.99% uptime target covered by service credits for prolonged outages, and new customers are protected by a 10 day money back guarantee so you can validate deployment, performance and support without long term lock in. Around the clock support and monitoring are available 24x7 through the portal and support channels, giving you a direct path to assistance if you need help with power, connectivity or data center operations around your private rack footprint.

📄 Editorial Review

Servers.com is a global Infrastructure-as-a-Service provider delivering hosting and infrastructure solutions to customers worldwide. The company traces its roots back to 1998, when it was founded and operated as part of XBT Holding, building up experience in large-scale hosting and network operations. In 2023, Servers.com entered a new phase when CloudOne Digital, the parent company of Liquid Web, acquired the business. Since then, Servers.com has been part of the Liquid Web Family of Brands, effectively making it a sibling company to Liquid Web under the CloudOne Digital umbrella. This corporate structure positions Servers.com alongside other established infrastructure and managed hosting brands while allowing it to maintain its focus on high-performance, highly automated infrastructure.

Rather than classic shared hosting, Servers.com concentrates on delivering single-tenant and cloud-based infrastructure that sits between hyperscale public clouds and traditional dedicated server providers. The platform is designed for organizations that treat infrastructure as critical to their business model: online games, SaaS platforms, streaming services, adtech, fintech, and other latency-sensitive or high-traffic applications. Their services are built around a global network of data centers and a powerful private backbone, enabling customers to deploy workloads close to end users and connect resources across regions with predictable performance.

The product portfolio covers several key hosting types: Dedicated Hosting (bare-metal servers), Cloud (cloud servers and cloud storage, private cloud, Kubernetes clusters), VPS (including specialized Forex VPS), Colocation Hosting (private racks), and supporting network and managed services such as firewall and load balancing. They do not operate as a domain registrar and do not offer mass-market shared hosting, email hosting, or website builders. Instead, the platform targets teams that want to build and operate their own stack with full control over operating systems, software, and network architecture.

Dedicated servers are the core of the offering. Servers.com provides enterprise-grade bare-metal servers with customizable CPU, RAM, disk, and network configurations. Customers can choose from a range of hardware options and data center locations, and benefit from rapid provisioning, high-bandwidth connectivity, and tight integration with the provider’s private network. These servers are tuned for scenarios where consistent performance, isolation, and low latency matter more than the lowest possible price per gigabyte.

On the cloud side, the company runs an OpenStack-based platform using KVM virtualization and SSD storage. Cloud servers are offered in predefined configurations, allowing customers to scale resources vertically and horizontally while using the same global network and automation tools as for dedicated servers. Cloud storage and volume services are built on redundant, high-availability architectures, making them suitable for production databases, application storage, and backup scenarios.

Colocation and private racks extend the model further, giving customers the option to deploy their own hardware alongside rented servers within the same facilities and network. Private cloud solutions and managed Kubernetes clusters cater to customers that need fully isolated environments with tailored compliance and security, while Forex-optimized VPS plans target traders and brokers who require very low latency and 24/7 availability. Taken together, Servers.com presents itself as an infrastructure platform for technically capable teams that want global reach, strong performance, and deep control, rather than a simple one-click hosting solution.
