📄 Editorial Review

Sekershell is a Turkish hosting and Internet services provider operating since 2006, with its base in Gerede, Bolu. The business started under the ŞEKER SHELL İNTERNET BİLİŞİM HİZMETLERİ name and developed a broad portfolio covering web hosting, virtual and dedicated servers, Internet radio, IRC services, domains, SSL certificates, email services, software products, web development, e-commerce work, and technical support.

Sekershell is currently associated with GucluNET (guclu.net), while its privacy policy identifies SEKERSHELL.COM as a brand of Aerotek Bilişim Sanayi ve Ticaret AŞ. The contact information uses the commercial name ŞEKERSHELL Internet Hizmetleri together with a Gerede tax registration. Business customers requiring a specific contracting entity for procurement or accounting should therefore check the company name appearing on the final invoice.

The regular hosting range includes Economic Web Hosting, Linux Pro Hosting, Unlimited Hosting, WordPress Hosting, Reseller Hosting, and Corporate Hosting. Entry-level hosting starts with a single-site package using 1 GB NVMe SSD storage and 50 GB monthly traffic, while higher packages increase storage, traffic, and the number of websites. NVMe storage, LiteSpeed, free SSL, migration assistance, and Turkish-language management tools are standard elements across much of the range.

WordPress Hosting combines WordPress-oriented provisioning with LiteSpeed/LSCache, SSL, migration, and backup features. Customers can select DirectAdmin or cPanel depending on the package and their preferred workflow. Reseller Hosting adds multi-account capabilities for agencies, developers, and hosting resellers, while Corporate Hosting is aimed more directly at business websites and heavier email usage.

Separate Corporate Email Hosting packages provide domain-based email accounts with SMTP, POP, and IMAP access, webmail, mobile-device compatibility, anti-spam filtering, and antivirus protection. This gives companies an option to keep email independent from their general website hosting.

The server range includes Cloud Server, VDS/VPS, Dedicated Server, and Windows Remote Desktop products. Virtual server packages use SSD or NVMe storage, Xeon E5 processing resources, and 100 Mbit/s network profiles. Available server locations include Turkey, Germany, and France depending on the service. CPU, memory, storage, and control-panel requirements can also be customized.

Dedicated servers use Intel Xeon hardware with SSD storage, ranging from E3 and E5 systems to configurations based on processors such as the E5-2699 v4. The lineup is suitable for websites, applications, private services, game environments, remote workloads, and projects that need more isolation than shared hosting.

The Windows Remote Desktop range includes systems in Turkey and France. Some lower-tier package information still mentions Windows Server 2003, while larger configurations list Windows 10, Server 2012, and Server 2019. Because Windows Server 2003 is obsolete, the operating-system version should be confirmed before ordering a Windows server.

One of Sekershell's strongest specialties remains IRC hosting. These plans combine IRCd services, web and mobile chat clients, security bots, DDoS protection, and optional community services. Higher packages add combinations of domain registration, radio hosting, web design, chat applications, and other IRC-related software. BNC services are also available for persistent IRC connectivity.

Radio Hosting is another substantial part of the catalog. Packages include AutoDJ, MP3 and AAC+ support, HTTPS streaming, request panels, mobile-compatible players, and Sonic Panel management. Plans differ mainly by listener limits and storage, with some annual packages supporting unlimited simultaneous listeners. This makes Sekershell considerably more specialized than a conventional shared-hosting provider.

Domain registration and transfer services are available alongside WHOIS tools and SSL certificates. The SSL portfolio includes RapidSSL, PositiveSSL, wildcard certificates, and EV certificates, with installation assistance included. Software products such as ZSohbet, SProChat, and qwebIRC-based mobile chat software are also part of the offering.

Google Ads management is available as an additional service. cPanel and WHMCS license pages remain part of the catalog, although direct sales of these licenses are currently suspended. WHMSonic-related licensing remains associated with the radio-hosting side of the business.

The website operates primarily in Turkish. No multi-language/localized version exists. Product pricing is mostly displayed in Turkish lira, although SSL certificates use US dollars and some server pricing tables do not always show the currency symbol clearly.

The design is usable and generally modern, but some older content remains mixed with newer product information. Legacy Windows operating-system entries and older IRC/software sections are the clearest examples. Customers ordering legacy-oriented services should confirm the exact version and specification before payment.
