Savvy is a Czech web hosting and infrastructure provider based in Brno, with hosting operations dating back to 2001. The current legal entity, Savvy, s.r.o., was established in 2004, giving the business more than two decades of experience in hosting, server administration and Internet infrastructure. Ing. Zdeněk Lukeš has served as managing director since the incorporation of Savvy, s.r.o.

The company has developed a broad service portfolio covering Shared Hosting, Email Hosting, Domains, Linux and Windows VPS, Java Hosting, Dedicated Servers, Managed Servers, Server Housing, Colocation, Rack Housing, Backup Storage, Server Administration, network outsourcing and business Internet connectivity. More specialized services include hosted Jira and Confluence environments, web development, e-commerce development and SIP/VoIP solutions.

The main OPTIMAL Web Hosting plan includes 20 GB of combined website, database and email storage, support for up to five domain aliases, free Let's Encrypt SSL certificates, web-based administration and migration assistance. Storage can be expanded in 10 GB increments up to 500 GB. Customers can create up to 500 mailboxes and use IMAP, POP3 and SMTP together with SPF, DKIM, DMARC, antivirus and antispam protection.

Database support includes MySQL, MariaDB and PostgreSQL, while the PHP environment covers both legacy and current releases, extending through PHP 8.5. Modern MariaDB and MySQL versions are also available. Popular applications such as WordPress, Joomla, Drupal and PrestaShop can therefore be accommodated without requiring a VPS. PHP configurations can use up to 1 GB of memory, while .htaccess, mod_rewrite, HTTP/2 and cron jobs are supported.

Shared-hosting backups include copies from the latest three days together with weekly historical copies retained for three weeks. Backup restoration is available as a paid service. This is sufficient for routine recovery, although customers needing long retention periods or frequent self-service snapshots may prefer one of the VPS or server solutions combined with additional backup storage.

Email Hosting BUSINESS is designed for companies requiring a substantial standalone mail platform. It includes 1 TB of shared mailbox storage with an unlimited number of mailboxes, Roundcube webmail, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, antivirus, antispam and daily and weekly backups. Mail data remains in the company's Brno infrastructure, and one backup restoration per month is included. Assisted migration from another mail provider is also available.

Savvy remains particularly notable for Java Hosting, an increasingly uncommon specialty among traditional hosting companies. Rather than placing Java applications into a shared environment, the service uses dedicated VPS resources with a private JVM. JAVA EASY provides 4 × 2 GHz CPU resources, 8 GB RAM and 40 GB storage, while JAVA BUSINESS increases resources to 8 × 2 GHz, 16 GB RAM and 80 GB storage.

The Java environment supports Tomcat and GlassFish, private JVM configuration, MySQL, MariaDB and PostgreSQL databases, SSH access and multiple domains or applications. Tomcat Manager is available for application management, while customers can adjust JVM parameters and restart their application server through the management interface. Email hosting is included with these packages as well.

The standard VPS line starts with HOME, offering 1 × 2 GHz CPU, 2 GB RAM, 40 GB SSD and one IPv4 address. EASY increases this to 2 × 2 GHz, 4 GB RAM and 80 GB SSD with two IPv4 addresses, while BUSINESS provides 4 × 2 GHz, 16 GB RAM, 250 GB SSD and five IPv4 addresses. VPS plans use a shared 1 Gbps connection without monthly traffic limits and include DNS service.

Linux VPS systems can run distributions including Debian, Ubuntu, CentOS and Fedora, with root SSH and VNC access. Windows Server licensing is also available for suitable configurations. Additional CPU, RAM, storage, IPv4 addresses, backups, monitoring and administration can be added. ISPConfig3 can be installed for customers who prefer a conventional hosting control panel.

Dedicated Servers are available from the Brno infrastructure using Dell, HP and other server hardware. Packages include network connectivity, public IP addresses, RAID configurations, hardware servicing and remote restart capabilities. Some configurations still use older Xeon and AMD platforms, making it advisable for performance-sensitive customers to confirm the exact current processor and storage configuration before ordering.

Customers requiring administration can combine dedicated or virtual infrastructure with Managed Server services. BASIC management covers operating-system installation, updates and monitoring. NORMAL extends management to web services, email, databases and user administration, while PREMIUM provides broader application, security and system-management assistance.

Savvy also has a substantial Server Housing and Colocation business. Individual servers can be housed with power, IP addresses and shared 1 Gbps connectivity, while larger customers can rent partial or complete rack capacity. Available rack configurations include 14U, 21U and 45U space together with IPv6 allocation. KVM-over-IP can be rented when remote console access is required.

External backup capacity is available on RAID 6 storage and can be accessed through iSCSI, FTP or FTPS. This can be combined with VPS, dedicated servers or colocated equipment and provides a practical option for maintaining data copies outside the customer's primary server.

Another specialized area is Jira and Confluence hosting. These installations run on dedicated virtual resources and can be combined with installation, upgrades, workflow configuration, backups, monitoring and SLA-based administration. This makes Savvy particularly useful for Czech businesses that want locally managed Atlassian infrastructure without operating the server environment themselves.

Domain registration, transfers and renewals are also available, with DNS hosting included. Most prices are denominated in Czech koruna (CZK), while some infrastructure services are also quoted in EUR. Banking details are available for CZK, EUR and USD payments.

The service portfolio is technically extensive, although parts of the website and some server specifications retain a distinctly legacy character. Current hosting supports modern PHP, MariaDB and MySQL releases, but some older Windows Server, dedicated hardware and software references remain. The website itself also uses an older visual layout and is primarily in Czech. No multi-language/localized version exists.
