RoboVPS is a hosting provider operated by TK Rustelekom LLC, with roots going back to the early Russian commercial hosting market. The team entered hosting under the WorldHosting name in 2001, began supplying virtual and dedicated servers in 2002, and dates the establishment of Rustelekom to 2003. The current Russian legal entity carrying OGRN 1107746537480 was registered on July 6, 2010. Azer Djamal Ogly Gariagdy is the General Director and 100% founder/owner of the legal entity.

Despite the name, RoboVPS offers much more than virtual servers. Its portfolio includes shared hosting, KVM VPS/VDS, Hi-CPU VPS, dedicated servers, private OpenStack clouds, FTP backup storage, domains, SSL certificates and software licenses. Virtual servers are available in Germany, the Netherlands, Finland, the United States and Russia, giving customers a relatively broad geographic choice for a provider of this size.

Standard VPS plans use KVM virtualization, SSD storage, unmetered traffic and one IPv4 address. Additional IP addresses can be added, with configurations supporting up to 16 IPv4 addresses, and IPv6 is also available. VPS management includes operating-system reinstall, rescue functions, VNC console access, reverse DNS management, traffic statistics and resource monitoring. Customers can deploy standard operating-system templates or install from their own ISO images.

Available operating systems include AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux, Oracle Linux, CentOS Stream, Debian, Ubuntu, Astra Linux and FreeBSD. Windows Server can also be installed on compatible VPS configurations, making the platform suitable for both Linux and Windows workloads.

The regular VPS range starts with 3 vCPU, 2 GB RAM and 35 GB SSD and scales through larger configurations with substantially more memory and disk capacity. Traffic is not billed per transferred gigabyte, which makes the plans easier to budget for websites, application servers, VPNs, development systems and other services with variable bandwidth usage.

The Hi-CPU VPS range is aimed at workloads that benefit from high single-core and per-thread performance. These servers are available in Finland and the Netherlands and use AMD Ryzen 9 9950X processors with clock speeds reaching up to 5.7 GHz, DDR5 memory and NVMe storage. Entry configurations provide 4 vCPU, 4 GB RAM and 100 GB NVMe, while larger plans reach 12 vCPU, 16 GB RAM and 260 GB NVMe. Port speeds scale up to 1 Gbps. These configurations are especially suitable for databases, application servers, trading platforms, development environments and other workloads where fast CPU cores matter more than simply having a large number of slower virtual cores.

The Dedicated Servers range uses Dell EMC and HPE hardware. German configurations range from more economical Xeon E3 systems to larger dual-Xeon and AMD EPYC servers. A typical server includes a 1 Gbps connection with 30 TB of monthly traffic, IPv4, IPv6 on request and remote IPMI access. Customers can install Linux or FreeBSD, deploy their own ISO, or use Windows Server with the appropriate license.

Russian dedicated servers follow a similar bare-metal model and are located in Moscow. Remote hardware management makes it possible to perform reboots, console work and operating-system installation without waiting for routine manual intervention from a data-center technician.

The Private Cloud service is based on OpenStack and is aimed at businesses that require a dedicated cloud environment rather than individual VPS instances. RoboVPS can deploy OpenStack across dedicated physical servers and provide installation, monitoring, security updates, platform maintenance and incident handling. High-availability and redundant configurations are available. Standard OpenStack interfaces also make the platform suitable for automation and infrastructure-as-code workflows without tying customers to a proprietary cloud API.

Shared hosting remains a practical part of the portfolio. SSD Shared Hosting is available in Germany and Russia using cPanel, CloudLinux and Softaculous. Plans include free SSL, daily backups, free website migration, email accounts, MySQL databases, FTP access and PHP configuration controls. LiteSpeed/LSPHP and HTTP/2 are integrated into the hosting environment, while CloudLinux provides resource isolation between accounts.

Softaculous simplifies the installation of WordPress and hundreds of other applications, so the shared-hosting platform is suitable for customers who do not want to administer a VPS directly.

The separate FTP Storage service is useful for keeping backup copies away from the production server. Storage runs on RAID-based systems with connectivity up to 1 Gbps and can be purchased by capacity or through predefined 500 GB, 1 TB, 2 TB and 5 TB packages. This makes it practical for VPS, dedicated-server and external backup jobs.

Domain registration covers more than 600 domain extensions. Domain management, renewal, automatic renewal and DNS functions are integrated into the customer account. RoboVPS also sells commercial SSL certificates, including DV, wildcard and EV products from GlobalSign and Sectigo, while free Let's Encrypt certificates are available with shared hosting.

The website supports Russian, English and Chinese, which makes the company easier to use for international customers. Prices are primarily shown in Russian rubles, while European dedicated servers can also be priced in euros.

The combination of KVM virtualization, dedicated hardware, private cloud, backup storage, domain services and shared hosting gives RoboVPS a relatively complete infrastructure portfolio.
