*📜 Plan description
TLD-DNS is the RcodeZero DNS product for top-level domain registries that need secondary Anycast DNS for registry-grade DNS availability, resilience and security. Pricing is individual and contract-based. The service is positioned for TLD operations where standard templates are not enough and where custom configurations, non-standard requirements, clear SLA definitions and direct engineering support are important. It includes unlimited query orientation, DNSSEC support, encrypted zone transfer, DDoS protection, GDPR compliance, NIS2 alignment, ISO 27001 context, clearly defined processes and interfaces, fast onboarding and hands-on support from engineers with registry DNS experience. RcodeZero DNS for registries is based on operational knowledge from nic.at and is already used by more than 20 global and European registries. The TLD Anycast platform currently uses one global cloud with 51 nodes at 25 providers and is designed for continuous zone availability, high-volume critical DNS traffic, optimized routing and load distribution. It is suitable for registries that need a secondary Anycast layer, stable long-term DNS delivery and a technical partner familiar with registry workflows.
RcodeZero DNS is an Anycast DNS service developed and operated by ipcom, a sister company of nic.at, with a strong focus on critical DNS infrastructure, resilience, security and European data-protection expectations. The service can be used as primary DNS when the customer wants to outsource the complete DNS infrastructure, or as secondary DNS when the customer keeps an existing hidden primary name server and uses RcodeZero for distributed Anycast delivery. Management is available through a web interface and REST API, with API tokens, optional IP filtering, pagination, rate limits, notifications and dashboard-based configuration. Features include DNSSEC signing, AXFR zone transfer workflows, DNS NOTIFY handling, automatic distribution of changes across the Anycast network, vanity name servers, DDoS mitigation, unlimited queries under fair use and infrastructure designed for critical DNS availability. The registry product adds stronger focus on registry-to-registry communication, custom onboarding, SLA clarity, permanent zone availability and high-criticality TLD use cases.

📄 Editorial Review
RcodeZero DNS is not a traditional shared hosting, VPS, dedicated server, or domain-registration provider. It is a specialist Anycast DNS platform operated by ipcom GmbH in Vienna, Austria. The company is closely connected with nic.at, the Austrian .at registry, and ipcom GmbH has operated since 2005. RcodeZero DNS developed from a nic.at internal Anycast project into a commercial DNS infrastructure platform, with its first DNS customer dating back to around 2011 and a 15-year milestone reached in 2026.The service is best understood as managed authoritative DNS infrastructure for customers that treat DNS as critical infrastructure. Its strongest fit is for Registries, ISPs, Registrars, and Enterprises that need resilient primary DNS, secondary DNS, DNSSEC signing, DDoS-resistant Anycast delivery, IPv4/IPv6 reachability, REST API automation, and global DNS performance without building and operating their own distributed DNS network.
The product line is clear and technical. For enterprises, the main commercial packages are Starter, Medium, and Large, including primary and secondary DNS, DNSSEC, no query limit under fair-use terms, web-interface access, API integration, and access to a two-cloud Anycast architecture. For ISPs and registrars, the PRO Shared, PRO Dedicated, and PRO Premium tiers add more advanced infrastructure separation, larger-scale zone handling, 24/7 emergency hotline options, dedicated IP options, and stronger SLA arrangements. For TLD registries, the TLD DNS product is tailored to ccTLD, gTLD, and IDN-TLD operators and includes secondary Anycast DNS, dedicated Anycast IPs, 24/7 emergency contact, encrypted zone transfers, RPKI support, premium DDoS mitigation, and ISO 27001 context.
This is a narrow but strong portfolio. Future customers looking for web hosting, cPanel hosting, cheap domains, email hosting, WordPress hosting, website builders, VPS, or dedicated servers should look elsewhere. Customers looking for high-resilience DNS outsourcing, especially in Europe, will find a mature and credible platform with registry-grade engineering roots.
The website supports English and German, uses EUR pricing, and has a modern technical presentation. The customer environment is built around an in-house web interface plus API access, which fits the operational needs of DNS infrastructure clients.
