Medium is the mid-level RcodeZero DNS package for customers that need a larger Anycast DNS zone allowance while still using the standard enterprise product line. It includes 50 DNS zones, 100 resource records per zone on average, no query limit under fair use, DNSSEC included, statistics, primary DNS and secondary DNS operation, web interface management, REST API integration, IPv4 and IPv6 reachable name service, two-factor authentication, IP allow list support for the REST API, e-mail alerting for problematic zones, vanity DNS branding, DDoS mitigation, RPKI support and support for major DNS record types including A, AAAA, ALIAS/ANAME, CNAME, HTTPS, LOC, MX, NAPTR, NS, SOA, SSHFP, SRV, SVCB, TLSA, TXT, URI and wildcards. Additional zones cost EUR 1.98 per zone per month. The minimum term after the trial is 30 days and no setup fee is listed. The plan is charged monthly after the free trial if it is not cancelled during the trial period.

RcodeZero DNS is an Anycast DNS service developed and operated by ipcom, a sister company of nic.at, with a strong focus on critical DNS infrastructure, resilience, security and European data-protection expectations. The service can be used as primary DNS when the customer wants to outsource the complete DNS infrastructure, or as secondary DNS when the customer keeps an existing hidden primary name server and uses RcodeZero for distributed Anycast delivery. The network uses two independent clouds in separated autonomous systems and a global node footprint to improve availability, routing performance and load distribution. Management is available through a web interface and REST API, with API tokens, optional IP filtering, pagination, rate limits, notifications and dashboard-based configuration.
