Rad Web Hosting is a Dallas-based hosting and infrastructure provider established in 2015 and operated by RadWeb LLC. Scott Claeys and Ron Williams are associated with the founding of the company, which developed from a U.S. hosting operation into a provider covering shared hosting, VPS and cloud infrastructure, virtual dedicated servers, dedicated servers, reseller services, colocation and private-cloud solutions.

The company has grown to more than 10,000 hosted domains, 6,000 deployed servers and 4,000 customers, with over 1,000 TB of hosted data. Its customer base ranges from individuals and small businesses to developers, agencies, resellers and organizations needing dedicated or customized infrastructure.

The entry-level portfolio starts with Shared Hosting, built around SSD storage, cPanel, LiteSpeed Web Server with LSCache, Web Application Firewall protection, free SSL certificates, off-site backups and free migration assistance. Plans also provide a website builder, Softaculous application installation and support for multiple PHP versions. The hosting platform can therefore handle ordinary business websites as well as WordPress and a wide range of PHP-based applications.

There are also specialized environments for WordPress, WooCommerce, Joomla, Drupal, Magento, OpenCart, PrestaShop, Moodle, MediaWiki, phpBB and other CMS, ecommerce and web applications. These services largely build on the same optimized hosting stack rather than separating customers into completely different infrastructure for every application. The Cloud Site Builder adds responsive templates and drag-and-drop site creation, while newer onboarding options can use AI assistance to generate an initial website layout.

Email Hosting is available independently, with SSD-backed mailboxes, SMTP, IMAP and POP3 access, SSL security, migration assistance and daily backups. This can suit customers who need domain-based email without purchasing a larger website package.

The VPS range is one of the broader parts of the portfolio. KVM VPS uses SSD/NVMe storage, full root access, IPv4 and IPv6 connectivity, custom ISO support and a large choice of Linux distributions. Windows VPS provides full Administrator access with Windows Server editions including 2016, 2019, 2022 and 2025. Full root or Administrator access is available, and unmanaged service remains an option for experienced system administrators while server management can be added where required.

Reseller Hosting combines cPanel/WHM, private nameservers, LiteSpeed, Softaculous, SSL certificates, website-building tools and WHMCS licensing on qualifying packages. A pay-as-you-go reseller option is also available. For larger deployments, Virtual Private Cloud provides a customizable pool of compute resources that can be allocated into virtual machines as needed.
