Virtual Datacenter | VDC is an Infrastructure as a Service solution that gives access to an enterprise level infrastructure platform. It is built around OpenStack and gives many of the possibilities of a physical datacenter with better scale economics and flexibility. The solution is self-administered through a clear self-service panel, and it is designed for businesses that need control over virtual infrastructure, networks, server resources and scaling without owning and operating physical datacenter hardware. Disaster recovery backup is included, and a typical 100 GB server can be restored in a few minutes when recovery is needed.
A VDC includes monitoring from the NOC, network administration for internal traffic and public IPs, high availability/high performance platform design, and Danish datacenter placement. It is suitable for development environments, production platforms, customer sites, application hosting and infrastructure consolidation.
