The configuration includes 1 powerful CPU, 2 GB RAM, 50 GB storage on the Rackfish storage network, snapshot headroom of up to the same amount depending on how the data changes, and 1000 GB traffic on a 1000 Mbps connection. It is intended to deliver more stable performance than ordinary shared VPS hosting because CPU, storage, memory, and networking are reserved and balanced across the cluster.
Rackfish server hosting runs in a redundant virtualized environment in Sweden, with mirrored storage, robust networking, and infrastructure built for predictable performance. The platform uses VMware virtualization, reserved resources, automatic balancing, and storage separated from the compute nodes so a hardware issue can be handled without ordinary server replacement work.
