The business has operated under PT Qwords Company International since November 2011, with Rendy Maulana remaining CEO. Its development included a Bandung office in 2007, Indonesian server infrastructure by 2008, Jakarta expansion in 2009, and continued growth into other major Indonesian cities. The organization now has roughly 51–200 employees and serves more than 300,000 websites.

The portfolio covers inexpensive shared hosting through VPS, private cloud, dedicated servers, and colocation, alongside domain registration, email, backup, security, reseller, and server-management services. This gives Qwords a practical upgrade path for customers that may begin with a small website but later require substantially more computing and network resources.

Cloud Hosting MaxMail is the entry-level hosting family, with a focus on affordable storage and email resources for personal sites, smaller businesses, and straightforward company websites. Qwords also offers S3-compatible Object Storage in Indonesia. It works well for media files, application objects, backups, archives, logs, datasets, and disaster-recovery copies while providing scalable storage and access-control capabilities.

Domains form another major part of the business. Qwords supports 500+ domain extensions and has been an accredited registrar with PANDI for Indonesian domains since 2016. International registrar operations are also handled through PT Aksara Data Digital, an ICANN-accredited registrar. Services extend beyond normal registration and transfer to premium .ID domains, backorders, domain leasing, brokerage and negotiation, privacy protection, DNS administration, forwarding, bulk registration, and private-label domain reseller services.

Reseller options include private-label domains, private-label hosting, and the Qwords VIP Partner program. These are useful for web developers, agencies, consultants, and IT companies that want to provide hosting and domain services under their own commercial identity.

Business communication services include Microsoft 365 and Titan Email. Additional products cover SSL certificates, commercial software licenses, digital signatures, Diego VPN, server administration, NAS solutions, FTP Backup, Offline Backup, and more advanced backup services.

Manage The Box adds server configuration, security hardening, monitoring, recovery support, migration, and ongoing technical administration. It is particularly relevant for customers using dedicated hardware or colocation who want infrastructure ownership without assuming every day-to-day system-administration task.

The storefront is primarily Indonesian and pricing is centered on Indonesian rupiah (IDR). A complete English-localized purchasing experience does not exist, so the service is most naturally suited to Indonesian customers and international customers comfortable working through the Indonesian interface.
