PRO ISP is an established Norwegian web hosting and domain provider active since 2002. Jon Eivind Malde led the company as owner and CEO from its launch until January 2023, helping develop it into a recognizable hosting brand for Norwegian individuals, developers, companies, and organizations.

PRO ISP became part of Group.one (group.one) in January 2022, joining the same European hosting group as one.com. In September 2024, PROISP AS was merged into GROUP.ONE NORWAY AS, which now handles the legal, contractual, billing, and customer-service responsibilities behind the brand. PRO ISP continues to operate with its established name, website, product range, and support channels. Uniweb is another Norwegian hosting brand operating within the same organization.

The company has more than two decades of hosting experience and serves approximately 50,000 customers. Its services are particularly suitable for customers who prefer Norwegian-language support, infrastructure in Norway, prices in Norwegian kroner, and a provider that combines domains, hosting, virtual servers, email, and Microsoft services under one account.

The portfolio covers Domain Registration, Shared Hosting, Enterprise Hosting, VPS, SSL Certificates, Hosted Exchange, and Microsoft 365.

Domain customers receive DNS administration, nameserver management, DNSSEC, WHOIS protection, domain parking, Anycast DNS, and DDoS protection. This makes the domain service useful both for simple registrations and for businesses that need more complete DNS and security management.

The standard shared-hosting platform includes SSD storage, PHP, MySQL, SSH, SFTP, FTP, and free SSL certificates. WordPress installations benefit from optimized configurations, while support for PHP versions from 7.4 through 8.5 provides compatibility with both older websites and current applications.

Pro Start includes 10 GB of storage and one MySQL database, making it appropriate for a small company website, personal project, portfolio, or basic WordPress installation. Pro Medium increases capacity to 50 GB and ten MySQL databases, providing more room for growing websites and several separate projects. Pro Premium includes 150 GB and twenty MySQL databases, making it better suited to multiple websites, larger media collections, and more demanding business use.

The Enterprise Hosting range offers dedicated PHP processes and Varnish caching, creating a stronger environment than ordinary shared hosting. These packages are a practical middle ground for busy WordPress websites, online stores, and applications that require more predictable resources but do not yet need a fully independent server.

Enterprise packages are available with 10 GB, 30 GB, or 100 GB of storage. They include SSD storage, free SSL, HTTP/2, SSH, SFTP, FTP access, and multiple MySQL databases. The number of additional domains and databases varies between configurations, so the selected plan should be matched carefully to the number of websites being hosted.

The VPS platform uses SSD storage and provides root or administrator access. Customers can select an operating system, access the server through a VNC console, and manage power functions directly from the control panel. Standard configurations include transfer capacity, a dedicated IPv4 address, and firewall functionality.

VPS configurations begin with 1 GB RAM and extend through larger customizable systems. These are primarily self-managed servers, making them most appropriate for developers, system administrators, agencies, and technically experienced customers who can maintain the operating system, security updates, and installed applications themselves.

The Hosted Exchange service includes Outlook Web Access, ActiveSync, shared calendars, contacts, tasks, antivirus protection, spam filtering, and daily backups. Mailbox options range from 2 GB to 50 GB, allowing businesses to select capacity according to their communication and archival requirements.

Microsoft 365 Business Basic and Business Standard are also available. Both include a 50 GB mailbox, 1 TB of OneDrive storage, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint capacity, aliases, and shared mailboxes. Business Standard additionally includes the desktop Microsoft Office applications for use across several devices.

PositiveSSL domain-validation certificates are available for individual domains and wildcard coverage. Since shared-hosting packages already include free SSL certificates, the paid alternatives are most relevant for customers who specifically require a separately issued commercial certificate.

The principal website is available in Norwegian, with an English-language version also provided. The Norwegian storefront contains the current domestic packages and prices, while the English interface retains an older appearance and includes some legacy service information.
