ProHost is a North Macedonian hosting provider and authorized .mk domain registrar operating through ПРОХОСТ ДООЕЛ (PROHOST DOOEL), a Skopje-based trading and services company. The business was established on June 11, 2006, giving it roughly two decades of hosting experience. Adil Bakiu is the company's CEO and remains closely connected with its operations, including domain administration and current technical content. LinkedIn places the company headquarters in Skopje, North Macedonia and lists a small team of 2–10 employees.

The service portfolio is aimed primarily at individuals, Macedonian companies, agencies and organizations that want local-language support together with hosting, domain registration and server infrastructure. The main website is in Macedonian. The client and ordering system has much broader localization, with interfaces detected in English, Albanian, Arabic, Azerbaijani, Catalan, Chinese, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Estonian, Persian, French, German, Hebrew, Hungarian, Italian, Macedonian, Norwegian, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish and Ukrainian. Customers can also switch the order system between MKD, EUR and USD.

The core shared hosting range consists of Starter, Power, Professional and Gold. All four use cPanel, include Softaculous, free activation and a defined allowance of disk space, monthly data transfer and addon domains. The current storefront also includes unlimited email accounts and unlimited MySQL databases. Starter begins with 2 GB of space, 200 GB monthly transfer and one addon domain, while Gold reaches 25 GB, 1,000 GB transfer and 20 addon domains. Professional and Gold include one free .mk domain. Free site migration is available: after ordering, customers can open a support ticket and ProHost will transfer the site from the previous provider without an additional migration fee.

Email is therefore included as part of the normal hosting environment rather than being limited to a separate mailbox-only product. An operational limit is important for users running newsletters or other mail-heavy applications: outgoing mail is restricted to 200 messages per hour. Messages above the hourly allowance are queued for later transmission, and customers with sustained bulk-mail requirements need another arrangement.

The reseller hosting range is designed for web agencies, developers and companies wanting separate hosting accounts for their own clients. Beginner, Advanced and Master provide WHM together with cPanel accounts, Softaculous, unlimited email accounts, unlimited MySQL databases and free activation. Customers can create separate cPanel accounts and allocate hosting resources without maintaining their own physical server.

There is a notable discrepancy in the reseller specifications. The main reseller page currently gives Beginner 30 GB storage/300 GB transfer, Advanced 50 GB/500 GB and Master 100 GB/1,000 GB, with 10, 20 and 30 cPanel accounts respectively. The live client storefront uses the same package names and monthly prices but shows substantially larger allocations of 50 GB/500 GB, 100 GB/1,000 GB and 200 GB/2,000 GB. Customers should therefore use the final order configuration as the contractual reference and confirm the allocation before payment. Reseller packages also include a free domain when the subscription exceeds one year.

For applications that have outgrown ordinary hosting, managed VPS packages use NVMe storage and include server administration. Light provides 2 vCPU cores, 4 GB guaranteed RAM and 40 GB NVMe SSD; Medium moves to 4 vCPU, 8 GB RAM and 80 GB NVMe; Extreme supplies 8 vCPU, 16 GB RAM and 160 GB NVMe. Every package includes 20 TB of monthly traffic, one IPv4 address, a choice of operating systems and a cPanel license. Light includes one cPanel account, while Medium and Extreme allow five.

These VPS packages are fully managed rather than simple self-service virtual machines. ProHost handles operating-system installation and configuration, cPanel installation, service hardening, 24/7/365 monitoring and regular remote backups. Activation is free. An additional public IPv4 address costs 2,999 MKD annually, and a VPS may receive up to four public IPv4 addresses when the additional allocation can be justified.

The ordering system also contains a current dedicated server category under the Macedonian term "Lichni serveri." The Personal configuration starts with an Intel Core i5-13500, 64 GB DDR4 RAM and two 512 GB NVMe SSDs. Experienced uses an AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 8700GE, 64 GB DDR5 ECC and two 512 GB NVMe SSDs. Corporate moves to an AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D, 128 GB DDR5 ECC and two 1.92 TB NVMe SSDs. These are considerably more modern configurations than the company's legacy technical knowledgebase entries and are the more relevant indication of the present dedicated range.

Domain registration is another important part of the business. ProHost is an authorized registrar for Macedonian .mk domains and supports registration, transfer and subsequent management of nameservers and registrant contacts. Macedonian extensions include .mk, .com.mk, .net.mk, .org.mk, .edu.mk and .inf.mk, while international options include extensions such as .com, .net, .org, .biz, .info and .us. The current domain cart also exposes extensions including .al and .group.

An older knowledgebase still contains legacy technical references such as CentOS 6.3, PHP 5.2.17+, MySQL 5.5+, Apache 2.2.16 and IBM eServer hardware with AMD Opteron processors. These specifications are clearly not representative of the current VPS and dedicated-server catalog. This aging documentation is one of the weaker aspects of the service because customers with version-specific requirements need to confirm the current software stack instead of relying on those older entries. The Terms of Service are similarly old, carrying version 2.3 and a last-modified date of April 25, 2009, even though major product and privacy content has been updated much more recently.
