Progreso.pl is a Polish hosting provider with a history dating back to 1999. The business originally operated under the Undernet name and moved entirely into web hosting in 2000 under the Konta.pl brand. Its early infrastructure included a small server room in Jastrzębie-Zdrój, followed by migrations to professional facilities in Warsaw and Piaseczno. The Progreso brand became part of the business in 2004 and has remained its main identity since then.

Infrastructure was moved to Katowice in 2008, and another major modernization took place in 2021 when Progreso began working with the Polsat Plus group. The company retained Katowice as its principal server location, upgraded its internal and external network architecture, and refreshed its server platform. In 2022 the business changed from a civil partnership to progreso.pl sp. z o.o., with registered capital of PLN 1,000,000.

The service range concentrates on Shared SSD Hosting, Managed Hybrid NVMe Hosting, Dedicated Email Hosting, Domains, SSL certificates, DNS, migration services and dedicated infrastructure solutions. Progreso also became an official NASK partner for Polish .pl domains in 2018.

Shared hosting is offered as managed Linux hosting rather than an unmanaged VPS environment. The Biznes package includes 100 GB SSD storage, while Biznes Plus provides 200 GB SSD storage. Both include unlimited traffic, support for multiple domains and subdomains, MySQL databases, email services, SSH access and management through the company's proprietary Extranet control panel.

The shared platform supports MySQL 8.0 together with technologies such as Redis and Memcached for applications requiring additional performance. Individual websites are isolated from one another, helping reduce the possibility that a compromised application can interfere with other websites hosted under the same account.

Shared hosting includes free Let's Encrypt SSL certificates, daily backups retained for 14 days, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, SpamAssassin and RBL filtering. The environment is suitable for WordPress, Joomla, PrestaShop, Magento, Shoper and custom PHP applications. Traffic is not metered under normal service usage, and smaller website migrations can be handled without additional cost.

The most distinctive service is Hybrid NVMe Hosting, which combines dedicated resources with fully managed administration. It is intended for customers who require considerably more power than standard shared hosting but do not want to maintain a conventional VPS or dedicated server themselves.

Hybrid packages range from 250 GB to 2 TB NVMe storage and provide guaranteed CPU and RAM allocations, additional temporary resources during higher demand, dedicated IPv4 addresses and connectivity ranging from 250 Mbit/s to 1 Gbit/s. Traffic is unlimited, SSH access is available, and system administration remains handled by Progreso.

A particularly useful feature is Autoskaler, introduced in 2021. It continuously evaluates server load and can temporarily increase Hybrid processing resources by as much as 400% during sudden traffic increases without additional usage charges. This is particularly useful for online stores, advertising campaigns, seasonal websites and other projects where short traffic peaks would otherwise require permanently oversized infrastructure.

Hybrid backups are more extensive than those used for basic shared hosting. Daily recovery points are retained for 30 days, while production data is protected through RAID10 together with additional copies on ZFS RAIDZ storage and another backup system maintained independently from the primary production environment.

Dedicated Email Hosting is designed primarily for organizations with substantial mailbox and archive requirements. Plans include from 1 TB to 8 TB of SSD capacity, unlimited mailboxes, aliases and forwarding, dedicated IPv4 addresses, IMAP, POP3 and SMTP access, webmail, anti-spam and antivirus filtering, SPF, DKIM and DMARC, together with daily backups retained for 30 days.

Domain registration covers Polish, international, functional and regional extensions. The direct relationship with NASK is particularly relevant for .pl registrations and transfers. Domain management, DNS administration and hosting configuration are integrated into the same Extranet environment.

Free Let's Encrypt certificates are integrated directly into hosting accounts and can be issued automatically. Customers requiring larger or more specialized infrastructure can also use dedicated solutions, including physical servers, multi-server clusters, performance analysis, migration assistance and individually designed hosting environments.

Integration with Cloudflare is available for customers requiring CDN functionality, reverse proxy services and additional protection in front of hosted websites. DDoS mitigation within the infrastructure uses redGuardian (redguardian.eu) technology.

The company is primarily focused on Poland. Customer interfaces, documentation and commercial information are in Polish, and no complete multilingual version exists. Prices are denominated in PLN, with VAT added where applicable.
