ProfitServer is a hosting provider that grew out of an IT department within the Russian ITC holding in 2003 and eventually became an independent hosting company. Over the years they have focused on infrastructure, building their own data center and gradually expanding into a global footprint with locations across Europe, North America and Asia. They are serving tens of thousands of customers and continuously refreshing hardware in their server pool, which positions them more as a technically driven provider than a pure budget host.

The core of their service portfolio is virtual servers (VPS/VDS). Customers can rent Linux or Windows VPS in a wide range of locations including Russia, the Netherlands, Germany, the UK, Italy, Poland, Spain, Bulgaria, Romania, Latvia, Greece, Turkey, Israel, Kazakhstan, Hong Kong, Singapore, the USA and Canada. Plans are offered in multiple "families" (Optima, Profi, Master, Uber, Cloud, S/ M/ L/ XL/ XXL), with different mixes of vCPUs, RAM and SSD storage. Entry-level plans start around 1 vCPU, 0.5–1 GB RAM and 15–20 GB SSD, while higher tiers go up to 8 vCPUs, 16 GB RAM and 100 GB SSD or more. All VPS include unlimited traffic, a dedicated IPv4 address (with the option to add more IPv4/IPv6), 24/7 support, ready-made OS templates and the option to install a custom operating system from a user-provided ISO. There is a clear focus on low-latency connectivity, DDoS protection on network layers 3–4 and a formal 99.9% uptime commitment backed by compensation for downtime.

On top of generic VPS, ProfitServer offers specialized Windows VPS and Linux VPS variants. These run on the same global infrastructure but are positioned more explicitly for workloads that need full OS control: application servers, remote desktops, VPN endpoints, development environments and similar. Full root access (or administrator access on Windows) is provided, with management either via SSH/remote desktop or through their control panel. OS templates include a broad range of modern Linux distributions (Debian, Ubuntu, AlmaLinux, Rocky, Oracle Linux, VzLinux and others), FreeBSD, Mikrotik RouterOS and several versions of Windows Server and even Windows 10, which is attractive for more specific use cases.

For workloads that outgrow a VPS, there is a catalogue of dedicated servers in multiple data centers. Configurations are based mainly on Intel Xeon E3/E5, Xeon D, newer Xeon E-series and Xeon Gold processors, as well as selected AMD Ryzen and EPYC options. Each location has its own price tier, but typical offers include 79–149 USD/month for single-socket Xeon systems and up to 399–499 USD/month for higher-end or dual-CPU machines. Dedicated servers come with unlimited traffic (subject to a non-guaranteed 100 Mbps port, with guaranteed minimum bandwidth depending on data center), free basic administration, OS templates, and the same 99.9% uptime commitment as VPS. Remote management via IPMI is provided for hands-on control.

ProfitServer also maintains a shared hosting product line aimed at simpler websites. The main plans (Easy, Base+, Profi+, Guru+) are built on SSD storage and support multiple sites and databases: from 3 GB SSD and 2 sites for the smallest plan up to 25 GB SSD and 50 sites with unlimited databases for the largest. All hosting plans include free SSL certificates, 24/7 support, daily backups, unlimited traffic, built-in email with antivirus/antispam, and one-click installation for popular CMS platforms such as WordPress. Annual and multi-year commitments include a free domain, which makes these plans attractive for small projects and blogs that want an all-in-one bundle.

Around the core hosting, there are complementary services: domain registration, SSL certificates, an administration/managed service for those who want help managing servers, and a reseller and affiliate program. ProfitServer’s platform and website interface are available in English, Russian and a very large list of additional languages (dozens, including German, Spanish, French, Arabic, Chinese, Hindi, Turkish, Romanian and many others), so non-English speaking users can generally work in their preferred language.

Overall, ProfitServer is a technically oriented provider with strong emphasis on VPS and dedicated infrastructure, broad geographical coverage and a lot of configuration flexibility, rather than a simple local shared host.
