The business started as a small operation focused on European virtual servers, dedicated servers, hosting and domain registration, then developed into a diversified provider serving individuals, developers, online businesses, resellers and infrastructure customers.

The company operates from Hamedan and maintains hosting and server infrastructure across Iran, Europe, North America and Asia. Pouyan IT is part of Arvand Faradadeh Mahed Holding, also known as AFM Holding. Its own network resources operate through AS212607, supporting services such as BGP announcements, IP subnet rental, virtual servers and colocation.

The product range is considerably broader than that of a typical shared-hosting company. It includes Linux hosting, WordPress hosting, WooCommerce hosting, Python hosting, Telegram bot hosting, professional email, reseller hosting, download hosting, backup storage, VPS, managed VPS, cloud servers, dedicated servers, colocation, domains, SSL certificates, software licenses, object storage, managed applications, website development and technical support.

Shared hosting is divided between Iranian cPanel hosting in Tehran, European cPanel hosting in Helsinki and European DirectAdmin hosting in Amsterdam. Larger Iranian colocation configurations include 10 Gbps connectivity, BGP support and expanded remote-hands allowances. This makes the service suitable for hosting companies, content providers and businesses requiring dedicated hardware within Iran.

Dutch colocation is based in the Kolo Meppel facility. It supports individual servers, partial racks and full-rack deployments for customers that need European hardware placement without maintaining their own technical team in the Netherlands.

The cloud application range goes beyond standard server rental. Managed services include browser-based Visual Studio Code environments, private GitLab installations, n8n workflow automation, Uptime Kuma monitoring and an online customer-chat platform.

A free Docker registry mirror helps Iranian developers access Docker images despite international restrictions. S3-compatible object storage is available for application data, website files, archives and backups.
