PORAR Web Application Co., Ltd. is a Thai hosting and online-services company founded in 2001 and headquartered in Bangkok. With more than two decades of activity, Porar has developed into a broader technology provider serving thousands of customers, including dozens of companies listed on the Thai stock market. Hosting and domain services remain central to the business, complemented by cloud infrastructure, email services, SSL certificates, website development, e-commerce systems, and online marketing.

The company has operated several specialized business lines over the years. Its infrastructure division covers hosting, servers, domains, and related Internet services, while PORARdesign handles website and application development. RankGo focuses on search-engine optimization and online marketing. THAIEPAY was developed for e-commerce and online payment services and was later separated into Pay Solutions Co., Ltd.

The hosting portfolio includes Linux Hosting, Windows Hosting, Email Hosting, WordPress Hosting, Cloud Servers, domain registration, and SSL certificates. Dedicated servers also remain within Porar's infrastructure and SLA framework, although customers needing physical dedicated hardware should request an up-to-date configuration and quotation directly.

Linux Hosting runs on Ubuntu and supports PHP, Python, Ruby, Perl, Java/JSP, JavaScript, and other common web technologies. Database support includes MySQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, MongoDB, Apache Cassandra, and Redis. Five main package levels provide between 5 GB and 250 GB of website storage, with a separate email-storage allocation of the same size. Email account numbers are not fixed, although practical use remains limited by the selected storage package and mail-sending limits.

The Linux environment includes POP3, IMAP, SMTP, aliases, forwarding, autoresponders, webmail, anti-spam protection, antivirus filtering, FTP access, a browser-based file manager, visitor statistics, and backup tools. Selected packages include SSL without an additional charge.

A wide selection of web applications can also be hosted, including WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, phpBB, osCommerce, Zen Cart, Magento, WooCommerce, MediaWiki, and SugarCRM. Email Hosting is available independently for organizations that only need professional email under their own domain. SMTP, POP3, IMAP4, webmail, Outlook and other standard email clients are supported. Mailbox quotas, forwarding, aliases, anti-spam filtering, and antivirus protection are included.

Email plans provide between 1 GB and 15 GB of storage, with daily message and traffic limits increasing according to the selected package. Bulk unsolicited email is prohibited, and accounts involved in spam can be terminated. One important difference from other services is backup: the SLA does not include provider backup for standalone Email Service, so organizations using it for important correspondence should maintain their own independent mail archive or backup.

Cloud Server services operate as configurable virtual machines and cover the typical VPS use case. Starter packages range from CLOUD-1 through CLOUD-4 and begin with 1 CPU core, 512 MB RAM, and 50 GB of disk space. Larger starter configurations reach 4 CPU cores, 4 GB RAM, and 400 GB of storage. IPv4 connectivity is included, together with separate domestic and international monthly transfer allocations.

Linux and Windows operating systems can be used depending on workload requirements, with SSH or Remote Desktop providing administrative access. The platform supports Apache, Lighttpd, Nginx, and IIS, while application environments include PHP, ASP.NET Core, Node.js, Python, Java, and Ruby. Common database platforms can also be deployed.

The larger Cloud Enterprise range begins with 8 CPU cores, 8 GB RAM, and 1 TB of disk capacity and reaches configurations with 32 CPU cores, 32 GB RAM, and as much as 8 TB of disk space. Domestic and international transfer allocations grow substantially across these packages, making them more appropriate for resource-intensive business applications.

A custom cloud calculator allows CPU, RAM, standard disk space, SSD capacity, and domestic or international transfer to be adjusted independently. This gives businesses more flexibility than simply selecting the next predefined package and is particularly useful when an application is memory-heavy, storage-heavy, or requires an unusual traffic allocation.

Cloud customers also receive assistance with operating-system and application installation, monitoring, service restarts, and related server administration. Backup arrangements require customer authorization because cloud and dedicated servers can contain private information governed by Thailand's PDPA. With consent, weekly backups are retained for three weeks together with one daily copy for Cloud Server and Dedicated Server services.

Domain registration is another important part of Porar's business. International domain registration covers hundreds of generic and country-oriented extensions, with customers receiving access to domain-management functions.

Thai .th domain registration includes extensions such as .co.th, .in.th, .ac.th, .go.th, and .or.th. Porar is an appointed registration agent for THNIC, making the service particularly convenient for organizations that need Thai namespace registration together with hosting and local support.

Thai-language internationalized domains are also supported, including Thai-character names under extensions such as .com and .net. Domain services include WHOIS lookup, DNS management, and expiration reminders by SMS. A, CNAME, MX, and TXT records can be managed directly through the domain-control system.

Incoming domain transfers do not have a separate transfer fee, although at least one additional year of registration is required. Transfers should be started well before expiration and normally require access to the administrative email associated with the domain. When an incoming transfer cannot be completed, the related renewal payment can be refunded.

Porar also offers SSL Certificates, including products historically associated with Thawte and Symantec/VeriSign. The SSL section includes standard, wildcard, and Extended Validation options. Some of the terminology and branding in this part of the catalog belongs to an older generation of the SSL market, including Symantec/VeriSign branding and references to EV browser green bars. Customers ordering SSL should therefore confirm the currently issued certificate authority, validation process, browser compatibility, and exact product replacing any legacy SKU.

Porar operates primarily for the Thai market. The website supports Thai and English, although English localization is incomplete and some product and company sections remain available mainly in Thai.
