Planeta Hosting Peru is a Latin American hosting provider with roots going back to 2001, giving the brand roughly 25 years of operating history. The business originated in Chile and later expanded regionally, including Peru. Cristián Casamayor was behind the early operation, starting the company with his own capital in 2001 before expanding its commercial presence into other Latin American markets. The Peruvian operation is associated with Planeta Hosting S.A.C., RUC 20547514786.

The Peru business is aimed mainly at local companies, entrepreneurs, ecommerce projects, agencies and organizations that prefer Spanish-language support and billing in Peruvian soles (S/). Prices are generally shown without IGV, while Peruvian invoices and receipts are available for local accounting requirements.

The Shared Hosting range consists of Hosting Persona, Hosting Profesional and Hosting Ultra. Hosting Persona provides 25 GB SSD storage for one website, Hosting Profesional expands capacity to 50 GB with support for up to 50 websites, and Hosting Ultra reaches 100 GB with support for up to 100 websites. These plans include email, MySQL databases, SSL, unlimited data transfer, Webmail, a free .com or .net domain during the first year, and weekly backups retained for four weeks.

Free migration is included, together with Creasite, a visual website builder, and an installer providing access to more than 400 applications. SSD/NVMe storage and LiteSpeed technology make the shared plans suitable for WordPress, company websites, smaller ecommerce stores and conventional PHP/MySQL applications.

For customers that need more resources without moving directly to a VPS, the Business Hosting line offers substantially higher allocations. Hosting Corporativo includes 100 GB SSD, 4 GB dedicated RAM and 2 vCPU. Hosting Premium increases this to 150 GB SSD, 6 GB RAM and 4 vCPU, while Hosting Alta Plus reaches 200 GB SSD, 8 GB RAM and 6 vCPU. These plans include daily backups with 30-day retention, SSL, a first-year .com or .net domain, email, databases, high-availability architecture and optimization for WordPress, WooCommerce and PrestaShop. Data redundancy across multiple servers adds another layer of continuity for business-oriented projects.

The next upgrade level is VPS Hosting. VPS Estándar includes 2 GB RAM, 50 GB storage and 4 TB monthly transfer. VPS Empresa provides 3 GB RAM, 100 GB storage and 6 TB transfer, while VPS Premium includes 4 GB RAM, 100 GB storage and 8 TB transfer. Each VPS includes one IP address, free setup, root and SSH access, with CentOS Linux available as the server operating system. Provisioning can take up to 24 hours.

VPS customers receive substantially more control than shared-hosting users, but root access also brings responsibility for system security, software maintenance and server configuration. These plans fit applications requiring isolated resources, custom software stacks, databases or services that cannot comfortably operate within normal shared-hosting limits.

Dedicated Servers are available through Bronze, Silver and Gold configurations. Bronze includes 8 GB RAM and two 500 GB disks, Silver provides 16 GB RAM and two 1 TB disks, while Gold includes 24 GB RAM and three 1 TB disks. Dedicated packages include a static IP together with defined national and international connectivity allowances. Linux and Windows installations are supported, while WHM/cPanel can be installed on Linux servers. Commercial software licenses are charged separately where applicable.

Dedicated servers are better suited to high-traffic websites, databases, business applications and workloads requiring physical resource isolation. They also provide a natural upgrade path for customers that outgrow shared hosting and VPS resources but want to remain with the same provider.

Domain registration covers common extensions such as .com, .net and .org together with Peruvian extensions including .com.pe, .org.pe and .net.pe. Automatic renewal is supported, and annual hosting customers can receive a new .com or .net domain registration free during the first year.

SSL is available both through the certificates included with hosting plans and through commercial SSL products. The commercial range includes a standard certificate for a single domain and a Wildcard certificate for securing multiple subdomains. SSL installation is included without an additional setup fee.

The service range is therefore centered on shared hosting, higher-resource business hosting, VPS, dedicated servers, domain registration, SSL certificates and associated website tools.
