📄 Editorial Review
PenDC is a Turkish data center and infrastructure provider based in Bursa, operated by PENTECH Bilişim Teknolojileri Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi. Its wider IT, software and data-services background goes back to 2000, while PenDC itself was established in 2020. A major transition followed in 2021, when the operation moved under new ownership and its own data center was built in Bursa. The company is primarily an infrastructure provider rather than a conventional mass-market shared hosting company. Its main services include Cloud/VPS/VDS Servers, Dedicated Servers, Colocation, Rack/Cabinet Rental, Backup and Disaster Recovery, Corporate Email, RDP, VPN, Internet Connectivity, Software License Rental and OEM/Network Equipment Rental. The portfolio is therefore particularly suitable for businesses that need virtual or physical infrastructure, network connectivity and data-center services from one provider.
The Cloud Server platform provides scalable VPS/VDS resources for developers, businesses, web applications and other workloads requiring administrator-level access. Typical configurations combine SSD storage, dedicated RAM and CPU resources, with examples including 40 GB SSD with 2 GB RAM and one CPU core, 80 GB SSD with 4 GB RAM and two cores, and 120 GB SSD with 8 GB RAM and four cores. Cloud packages use high-capacity network connectivity, include monitoring and security, provide unlimited traffic and have access to 24/7 technical assistance. Annual VDS subscriptions include two months free, while hosting and SSL are included with applicable cloud packages.
Cloud servers can run Windows, Ubuntu, AlmaLinux, CentOS, Debian and FreeBSD. The broader virtualization environment also accommodates Fedora, Rocky Linux, OpenBSD and other operating systems. Customers receive full SSH or RDP administrator credentials, making the standard environment suitable for self-managed deployments. A managed-support package is available for customers that prefer PenDC to handle more of the server administration.
Dedicated Servers provide physical Intel Xeon-based infrastructure together with monitoring, backup options and disaster-recovery capabilities. Initial server installation and operating-system updates are included, while Linux, Windows and VMware environments can be deployed. Dedicated configurations are generally customized according to hardware, network and resource requirements rather than being restricted to a small number of standardized packages.
Colocation is available for customers that want to place their own servers and network equipment inside the Bursa facility. The service includes redundant power infrastructure, high-speed connectivity and unlimited traffic, while electricity consumption is measured separately. Each colocated service receives one free hour of technical assistance per month. Remote-hands work can cover server power cycling, cable changes, KVM installation, hardware checks, photographs and basic network operations. IP announcement configuration is also available without an additional technical-support charge.
Customers requiring more physical capacity can use Rack/Cabinet Rental. This service extends beyond simple rack space and includes operator redundancy and network-management assistance. Technical support covers equipment such as Juniper EX/Q, Cisco N and Ruijie L3 switches, together with VLAN configuration, LACP, basic BGP work and import/export rules. Each rented cabinet receives two free technical-support hours per month.
The Backup and Disaster Recovery portfolio includes image backup, geographically separated backup, FTP backup and cloud backup. Data can be maintained independently from primary production systems, with encrypted storage, integrity protection and recovery capabilities intended for business-continuity and disaster-recovery scenarios.
Business customers can also consolidate several related services with PenDC. Corporate Services include hosted business mail servers, mail gateways, RDP and VPN access. Internet Services are available with asymmetric 1:5 and symmetric 1:1 connectivity, with bandwidth options extending to 1 Gbps. This makes PenDC useful not only for hosting servers but also for companies building larger IT environments inside the data center.
License Rental allows customers to obtain Plesk, cPanel and DirectAdmin licenses together with their server infrastructure, while LiteSpeed is also available within the software range. Physical-infrastructure customers can additionally rent OEM Equipment, including ATS/STS devices, Juniper and Ruijie switches and port-controlled PDUs. This can be useful when deploying infrastructure without purchasing every supporting network or power component outright.
The website operates primarily in Turkish, and no complete multilingual/localized version exists. Pricing is mainly provided in Turkish lira (TRY), although several software licenses and some equipment rentals use US dollars (USD).
PenDC also operates a technical blog, customer portal, service-status system, speed test, iPerf service and looking glass. Overall, its service profile is much closer to a regional carrier-oriented data-center and IaaS provider than to a traditional shared hosting company.
