OZ Hosting is an Australian-owned cloud hosting and business technology provider established in 1997. With nearly three decades of activity, it is one of the more experienced hosting companies in the Australian market. The business operates as OzHosting.com Pty Ltd, ABN 48 153 588 142, and serves more than 10,000 Australian businesses.

The company is headquartered in Darlinghurst, New South Wales, and has a team of approximately 11–50 employees. Its leadership includes Doug Endersbee as Director and CEO, Jason Frisch as Director and CTO, and Aleksey Anisimov as General Manager of Operations. Jason Frisch’s Japan-based Tsukaeru business is also a strategic stakeholder and investor, giving OZ Hosting an additional connection with the wider Asia-Pacific hosting market.

The service portfolio extends beyond conventional website hosting and includes domain registration, shared hosting, WordPress hosting, Linux VPS, Windows VPS, managed server services, SSL certificates, website backup, website security, email hosting, Microsoft 365, cloud backup, email archiving, spam filtering, and business file sharing.

Dedicated servers and colocation form part of the company’s earlier hosting history, although they are not currently available as standard orderable packages in the main catalog.

The Shared Hosting packages are suitable for small business websites, company portals, and WordPress installations. They include Australian hosting, isolated customer environments, one-click WordPress installation, daily backups, 30 restore points, scalable resources, and a graphical hosting control panel. The entry package supports one website, while larger plans increase storage, bandwidth, backup capacity, and the number of hosted websites.

The VPS portfolio includes both Linux Cloud VPS and Windows Cloud VPS.

Linux VPS instances use Virtuozzo virtualization and include root access, one dedicated IPv4 address, weekly full-server snapshots, backup capacity, bandwidth allocations, and self-service server management. Customers can restart the VPS, manage operating-system functions, and adjust resources through the service interface.

Windows VPS packages include Windows Server 2016 or Windows Server 2019, remote administrative access, one dedicated IP address, weekly snapshots, and 100 GB of backup storage. These plans are suitable for Microsoft-based applications, remote desktop environments, ASP.NET projects, and Windows-specific business software.

Server-management services can be added when a customer does not want to maintain the operating system and essential server software independently. Management covers the infrastructure, system updates, monitoring, backup supervision, and supported core software. Website development, custom application code, and unsupported third-party software remain separate responsibilities.

Plesk-enabled VPS packages require particular attention because the Plesk license is charged separately from the base VPS. Customers can add Plesk Web Admin, Web Pro, or Web Host according to the number of domains and hosting accounts required. The final monthly price can therefore be considerably higher than the initial VPS rate.

Business email customers can choose between Zimbra Email and Collaboration and Microsoft 365.

Zimbra is hosted in Australia and combines email, contacts, calendars, tasks, shared folders, chat, Outlook integration, ActiveSync, and email archiving. It is a practical option for businesses that want a collaborative email environment while keeping their mailbox data in Australia.

Microsoft 365 services include Exchange Online, Business Basic, Business Standard, desktop Microsoft Office applications, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams, and optional support packages.

The security and data-protection portfolio is also extensive:

• Website Backup protects websites hosted either with OZ Hosting or with another provider. It includes scheduled file and database backups, one-click restoration, downloadable recovery copies, Google Safe Browsing monitoring, and as many as 30 restore points.
• SiteLock provides malware scanning, vulnerability detection, automatic malware removal, reputation monitoring, and web application firewall protection.
• Website Performance includes caching, compression, image optimization, hosting analysis, and assistance configuring Cloudflare.
• Acronis Cloud Backup protects physical servers, virtual machines, NAS devices, desktops, laptops, and mobile devices. Additional options include EDR, XDR, managed detection and response, data-loss prevention, endpoint management, automation, and disaster-recovery resources.
• Dropsuite Email Backup provides encrypted Australian-hosted email backup, archiving, search, download, and mailbox recovery.
• Acronis Microsoft 365 Backup protects Exchange email, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams, with granular recovery, cross-user recovery, and organization-level restoration.
• SpamExperts filters spam, phishing messages, viruses, ransomware, and other malicious email before delivery. It also includes quarantine management, reporting, message tracking, sender whitelisting, and email queuing during mail-server outages.
• Rushfiles Pro provides locally hosted file storage and collaboration with 1 TB of storage, unlimited internal and external users, desktop and mobile applications, Active Directory integration, version control, remote device wiping, secure sharing links, private encryption keys, and 256-bit AES/TLS protection.

Rushfiles supports several interface languages, while OZ Hosting’s primary commercial and support environment is in English. Services are priced in Australian dollars.
