NUXIT is a French web hosting and cloud provider with roots going back to 2003. The corporate history behind the brand is more complex than its age alone suggests. The original NUXIT business later became part of Magic Online, while the current legal entity, SIREN 451 878 128, originated as PHPNET France in 2004 and adopted the NUXIT name in 2023. Another major change followed in April 2024, when CELESTE acquired the Magic Online group and brought NUXIT into a considerably larger French telecom, cloud and cybersecurity organization.

The acquisition gives NUXIT access to substantially broader infrastructure and operational resources. At the time of the transaction, the Magic Online group represented approximately 20,000 business customers, 30,000 hosted websites, 50,000 domains and close to 100 employees across the wider organization. NUXIT continues as a specialized hosting brand inside the CELESTE group.

The product range is broad enough to cover both ordinary websites and considerably more demanding business infrastructure. Services include Shared Hosting, Performance Hosting, dediFlex managed hosting, VPS, Dedicated Servers, VMware Private Cloud, Domain Registration, Email Pro, Microsoft 365, drivinCloud storage and backup, and Acronis backup. WordPress tools, student hosting, a free hosting trial, CDN integration and disaster-recovery options extend the range further.

The standard Shared Hosting packages suit personal sites, business websites, blogs and smaller online stores. Nuxit Web 1 includes one website and 50 GB SSD storage, Web 2 supports three websites with 100 GB, while Web 3 supports eight websites with 250 GB. Traffic is unlimited, SSL certificates are included, backups run daily, CMS applications can be installed automatically, and a Site Builder is available. Eligible packages also include a domain free for the first year. Each hosted domain receives three email accounts with 3 GB storage per mailbox.

The shared platform offers a useful amount of configuration for PHP-based hosting. PHP can be selected independently for individual websites, with versions ranging from 5.6 through 8.4. MariaDB/MySQL, phpMyAdmin, FTP access, DNS-zone administration, scheduled Cron tasks and common CMS applications are supported. WordPress installations can use Varnish caching, while the Divi theme is also included.

A 30-day free shared-hosting trial makes it possible to test the platform without an initial commitment. It includes 50 GB SSD storage, two MariaDB databases, access to the hosting control panel and the main functions of the standard hosting environment.

Students have a separate Student Pack priced at €15 per year when a valid school-issued code is available. It includes a .fr domain for the first year, 5 GB SSD storage, SQL databases, email accounts, SSL and unlimited monthly traffic.

The more powerful Performance Hosting range is a better fit for websites that need guaranteed resources. Each account separates the website and SQL workload into two virtual machines with allocated processor, memory and SSD capacity. The range starts with Performance 4G at 2 vCores, 4 GB RAM and 75 GB SSD storage and extends to Performance 40G with 16 cores, 40 GB RAM and 400 GB SSD. Depending on the plan, between three and 20 websites can be hosted.

Performance Hosting also gives developers SSH access together with GIT, Composer, WP-CLI, Drush and rsync. PHP-FPM with OPcache, Varnish, private MariaDB resources, configurable PHP, Cron and Memcached make these plans suitable for busier WordPress, WooCommerce, PrestaShop, Drupal, Joomla, Laravel and Symfony projects.

Backup retention on Performance Hosting includes snapshots covering the previous three days, three weeks and two months. Access to older weekly and monthly restoration points requires the Extended Backup option.

dediFlex sits between managed web hosting and a traditional dedicated server. Customers receive dedicated hardware while continuing to use centralized hosting administration and NUXIT management. The Ouranos, Helios and Cronos configurations use Xeon E5 hardware with 32 GB to 128 GB or more of RAM and SSD capacities from 500 GB to 1 TB. They support approximately six, 16 and 32 hosted services respectively.

This makes dediFlex particularly attractive for agencies, resellers and businesses that need dedicated resources without wanting to take responsibility for routine server administration.

Customers who prefer full operating-system access can choose a KVM VPS. Configurations range from 2 vCPU, 2 GB RAM and 50 GB SSD up to 16 vCPU, 16 GB RAM and 400 GB SSD. Debian 12 or 13 and Ubuntu 22.04 or 24.04 LTS can be installed, while root SSH access provides complete control over the operating system.

NUXIT remains responsible for the underlying VPS hardware and network infrastructure, while software maintenance inside an unmanaged VPS belongs to the customer. Managed assistance is available for customers who prefer NUXIT to handle more of the operating environment.

Plesk can be added to VPS packages. Web Admin supports up to ten sites, Web Pro up to 30 and Web Host an unlimited number. It brings website, DNS, database, email, security and backup administration into one interface. Daily extended backups and 360 Monitoring can also be added.

The Dedicated Server catalog covers considerably larger workloads. Entry configurations begin with the Bronze server using a Xeon E5-1620v4, 32 GB RAM and two 250 GB SSDs, while larger models use dual Xeon E5 processors or Xeon Gold platforms with several hundred gigabytes of memory. These systems are suitable for web hosting, business applications, virtualization and private infrastructure using technologies such as KVM, Xen, Proxmox and VMware.

Server management and monitoring are available as additional services, which is useful for organizations that need dedicated hardware without maintaining an internal Linux or infrastructure team.

The VMware Private Cloud line is one of the strongest business-oriented services in the portfolio. Dedicated and expandable processor, memory and storage resources run on the group's French VMware infrastructure. Packages range from 16 GB RAM with 500 GB storage up to 128 GB RAM with 3 TB. Windows Server licensing is included.

The environment includes firewalling, load balancing, private networking, dynamic resource allocation, daily backups and administration through vCloud. Virtual machines can restart elsewhere in the cluster when physical hardware fails, giving this service considerably stronger resilience than an ordinary single dedicated server.

Domain registration remains an important component of the platform. NUXIT supports a wide selection of generic and country-code extensions together with registrations, renewals and transfers. DNS-zone management, transfer locking, DNSSEC and Whois privacy are available where supported. Eligible web-hosting packages include a domain free for the first year.

Email Pro provides standalone professional email hosting. Start includes five 5 GB mailboxes, Premium includes five 20 GB mailboxes and Entreprise provides five 50 GB mailboxes. IMAP, POP3 and SMTP are supported together with Roundcube webmail, antivirus, antispam, daily backups and mailbox restoration.

NUXIT also provides Microsoft 365, covering Business Basic, Business Standard, Business Premium and Enterprise packages. Migration, configuration, licensing and user support can therefore be handled through the same French provider as the customer's hosting infrastructure.

Backup services are split between two main product families. drivinCloud is NUXIT's French-hosted storage, backup, synchronization and sharing solution, with packages ranging from 250 GB to 3 TB. Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud is the more advanced alternative for organizations requiring encrypted backups, malware protection, ransomware protection, endpoint functions and recovery for computers, servers, virtual machines, Exchange and Microsoft 365.

WordPress customers can add WordPress Plus, which includes staging copies, centralized updates for WordPress core, plugins and themes, vulnerability notifications, plugin rollback, database optimization, WP-CLI, GIT access, automated image compression and reusable QuickInstall templates. Backups run nightly with seven rolling daily copies plus monthly copies covering the previous three months.

For projects requiring stronger geographic resilience, NUXIT can combine its French hosting environment with AWS. CloudFront can provide CDN caching, WAF functions and DDoS filtering, while the multicloud disaster-recovery option maintains an external copy of a website in AWS and updates it nightly. That copy can be used if the primary NUXIT environment becomes unavailable.

The main commercial website is in French, while prices are displayed in EUR. A complete English storefront does not exist. The support knowledge base is more extensively localized and includes French, English and Spanish.
