Managed colocation places customer-owned servers in Nomeo's secured Ghent data center and adds continuous operational care. Nomeo supplies the facility, rack space and network, monitors the servers and hosted services, performs maintenance and manages backups.
The solution can cover one server or multiple racks and can be expanded as requirements grow. A fixed monthly amount is agreed for the chosen capacity, allowing predictable budgeting. Physical and information security follow ISO 27001-certified processes. Technical specialists are available around the clock through telephone, email and live chat, including urgent support outside office hours. The service can accommodate Linux or Windows hardware and is quoted individually according to rack space, power, connectivity, backup and management requirements. Public prices exclude Belgian VAT.

The company operates as NOMEO BV and has developed from a domain and hosting specialist into a broader business IT provider serving companies, agencies and individual customers primarily in Belgium.Domain registration remains an important part of the business. Nomeo supports around 1,200 domain extensions and operates as an ICANN-accredited registrar, giving it direct credentials in the international domain-registration market. The company manages tens of thousands of domain names for several thousand customers and combines domain management with hosting, email and cloud services from a single customer environment.

Standard web hosting is relatively simple and business-oriented. The entry package includes 2 GB web space, PHP, MySQL, SSL, Varnish, Redis, automatic WordPress installation and website migration. The storage quota is smaller than many mass-market shared-hosting packages, although the inclusion of Varnish and Redis adds useful performance features. A Performance XL option is available for websites requiring additional resources.
Managed WordPress provides 25 GB storage, automatic WordPress installation, SSL, security checks, performance optimization and 50 mailboxes. It is better suited to customers who want Nomeo to take care of more of the technical WordPress environment rather than maintaining everything themselves.
The Website Builder provides another option for small business websites. A basic website with up to three pages can be created together with a domain, while the service includes more than 200 templates, responsive layouts, SSL, stock images, plugins and e-commerce functionality. Larger sites can use the Maxi package.
Cloud servers and managed hosting extend the service range beyond conventional shared hosting. Nomeo also provides physical colocation, reseller hosting and dedicated business-oriented services. Its infrastructure includes shared-hosting systems, cloud virtualization, storage, databases, mail platforms, load balancing and a distributed DNS environment.
Infrastructure modernization has continued in recent years. Shared and reseller workloads were moved to newer servers and faster redundant storage, while virtualization management migrated from the older OnApp environment to Proxmox (proxmox.com). This provides a more modern foundation for shared hosting, reseller services and cloud workloads.
Reseller hosting is aimed at agencies and IT providers that want to manage hosting for multiple customers. Matomo hosting provides a privacy-focused analytics option, while the email portfolio extends from conventional mailboxes to Microsoft 365, Microsoft 365 Backup, spam filtering and DMARC management.
Nomeo also operates its own distributed DNS architecture, designed to process DNS requests close to users and improve both response times and resilience. This is an interesting technical strength for a comparatively compact hosting company and complements its broader domain-registration business.
The service portfolio has also expanded into Belgian business software through Fineo, an electronic invoicing solution built around Peppol requirements. Although this is not a traditional hosting product, it fits Nomeo's broader focus on providing online services to Belgian SMEs.
