NIC.ru / RU-CENTER is the public face of JSC "Regional Network Information Center", one of the oldest and best-known domain registrars and hosting providers in Russia. The company has been operating since around 2000, which gives them more than two decades of experience in domain, DNS and hosting infrastructure. They sit right at the heart of the Russian internet ecosystem, especially around .ru, .рф and .su domain zones, and handle domain portfolios for a large number of corporate customers alongside individual site owners.

The most visible part of the offer is domain registration and related services. Customers get access to 700+ domain zones, from classic .com and .net to most country-code and niche extensions. Domains can be registered, renewed, transferred in or out, parked, protected against hijacking, and even insured via a dedicated Domain Insurance service. DNS hosting is tightly integrated, with primary and secondary DNS, domain redirection and tools for managing WHOIS contacts, which makes it easy to keep everything under one login.
